I wouldn't call Vargas "chinny" until later his his career. He had a decent chin, but certainly nothing special.

Did Hilton have enough power to hurt, and drop Vargas? Hell yeah! But Hilton could get pretty wild when he got a guy in trouble. He wasn't a sharp shooter puncher the way Tito was.

And Hilton HIMSELF never really faced anyone with real power. Not that Vargas was a big puncher, but Nando hit hard enough to get Hilton's attention.

 

I just think Vargas was a guy you can hurt more than Hilton but I agree that Hilton would have been hurt by the likes of Trinidad as well

 

Yeah, given how easy Hilton was to hit, Tito would have given him the Campas treatment.

A more intriguing, and more competitive matchup is Hilton vs Canelo.
