James Toney vs. Marvin Johnson @ 175

Would Toney's skill and counterpunching be enough to beat Marvin Johnson or would Johnson's southpaw firepower be too much for Toney?

 

The version of Toney that fought at LHW would lose a decision to Marvelous Marvin

Agreed. Toney never seemed to fully adjust to 175 but I thought this would make for a fun scrap.

Could Marvin seriously hurt or drop Toney sometime during the fight?

 

I think it's possible, but probably not... Toney didn't hit the deck too often and even in losing, he didn't absorb a ton of punishment because he was so good at rolling with shots to take the edge off
