Finally started "The Wire" ... only 8 episodes into season 1 but I think it's fantastic... The acting, the storyline, the atmosphere, brilliant stuff

 

It's pretty good, but it's no "Marcus Welby M.D."

I was expecting to be disappointed because everyone raves about it, but it really is an amazing show... completely engrossing

 

Good job dude, although season 2 is a huge drop off things pick back up in season 3.

I'm starting to think The Walking Dead is an overrated TV show. Only thing holding that show together is the damn fascination of zombies. I'm not about to stop watching it though .

I'm also watching American Horror story which is okay this season and I just started 2 eps of True Detective and I really like that one.

I think I'm going to get into Orange Is The New Black next, I keep hearing good things. Also does anyone watch Key & Peele?

 

It's weird... So many people have different seasons they prefer... I hear "season 3 and 4 are the BEST!" or "season 1 and 2 were great, the others were pretty good"

 

I loved the Shield, possibly my favourite show.

I just started watching The Missing, about 3 episodes in so far. Looks to have a lot of promise.

 

4 full seasons of The Wire so far... Incredible show

 

GREATEST SHOW EVER......The Sopranos is shit compared to it...

 

Yeah man, it's like fucking real life Shakespeare ... Utterly riveting shit... The characters are just incredible... Stringer, McNulty, Lester, Omar, Prop Joe, that weird ass dyke who says "yerp!" Before killing people, Marlo, Prez... The show just vividly illustrates how fucked up our country is and how great it is too sometimes...

I thought The Sopranos was a tremendous show, but this show is a profound statement ... Greatest TV show I've ever seen

 

I liked when Sly shot Method Man in the shoulder

Season 5 is a bit over the top with some of the stuff though...the McNulty thing....

 

Everybody seems to dislike the season they did on the docks (I know, white people problems), but I found it fascinating. It was kind of like a "bottle" season, not much to do with the rest of the series.

 

I like all the season.....what I remember most about that one is the set of tits on the Chubaka whatever that faggot name... kid(the one in his mom basement)...

How can you have a program dealing with the disintegration of the underclasses and the impossibility of reform without dealing with the working class and unions? Second season was brilliant, I thought

Season 5... Just started it, but I'm getting that sense

 

Me and my wife watched 3 episodes and quit. It is an epic BORE, full of stereotypes and clichés, an uninteresting main character, trying very hard to emulate Game of Thrones. I was immensely disappointed since I wanted to like this series as Marco Polo is a fascinating historical figure.

 

YES.....those are TOP 3 nicest boobs I have ever seen on screen....

the best characters on the wire were joe stewart and clay davis. i enjoyed all the seasons. the last one seemed kinda over the top, but it was still good. i was surprised when mcNulty shot marlo in the head, though
