Same basic prediction, but I think Barrera would last the distance... He's got skills but he can't deal with Floyd's speed, he's got to cover up and be overly defensive, losing round after round... But I think he lasts because the 130 MAB was an older, more careful fighter than the young guy who was stunned by Junior Jones at 122

 

I think Floyd would be able to do what he wanted with MAB. You're talking about a smaller, older, slower guy whose biggest accomplishment was having the number of a much greater fighter (Erik Morales) (who he still lost to legitimately at least once) (I'm not including his extra-cautious stinkfest victory over a disinterested Hamed). Especially with a younger, faster & more aggressive version of Floyd, MAB doesn't see the final bell.

Barrera at 130 was a careful guy... I think he'd see that he's overmatched by the Speed and size of the opponent and go into a shell... Hard to knock a dude out when he's closing up shop

 

I had it Draw, Morales 8-4 and Barrera 7-5 but agreed that Morales won more rounds either way.. he was also more impressive against their common opponents (especially Pac)

I think Morales won 2 out of 3 btw. The first fight by a hair, the 2nd fight clear as day, and the 3rd fight was the only real Barrera win.

I think Barrera would have beaten everyone Floyd beat at 130. He was an excellent fighter, even at that weight.

Pacquiao is the perfect fighter to destroy Barrera, but Barrera performed very well against pretty much everyone else in his prime.

Marco managed to give Marquez a decent fight at 130, and even went the distance with Pacquiao in the rematch.
