Pavlik was a big stiff... I don't really rate the guy, frankly... Benn was vulnerable as fuck, himself, but I figure he survives getting rocked a time or two and stops this big drunk
:::::: Pavlik wasn't that bad. Vulnerable for certain styles, but did well against guys who stood in front of him. Problem is, Benn is the wrong guy to stand in front with and trade. Benn wasn't Miranda...... Yeah, I'd take Benn by KO. Probably similar to his fight with Dewitt.
Pavlik supposedly trained fiercely before the booze took over his life. So to call him lazy is inaccurate. Alcoholics aren't lazy. They have an addiction.
Pavlik winning certainly isn't outta the question. But at the end of the day, in a fire fight, which this would be, I just see Benn having too much firepower for Pavlik. Pavlik was the more technically solid of the two, and Pav had the more solid chin of the two, but Pavlik's defense was so shitty that I don't envision him beating a guy who's among the 10 biggest punchers in middleweight history.
