I don't see what Mass posted either. Yeah I heard that too. Apparently Barkley criticized MJ about being the crappy owner that he is on Inside The NBA and MJ felt a certain way about it.
I don't understand why he thinks his opinion is needed. Why would anyone care what this man has to say about anything. He can barely speak.
Well one reason people care is because he gets paid to present his opinion. He works on TNT's Inside The NBA so giving his opinion is basically his job. I don't know what you posted about Barkley but lots of people like his opinion as he tends to speak his mind without the care of consequences which can be seen in the fact him and MJ aren't friends anymore. Plus he's usally pretty funny about it too. TNT loves Barkley and he's easily the most important guy on that show because guys who are witty and funny the way he is don't come around that often.
The only thing that is fake about that story is the part about leaving him to the snow, because then this account from Oakley would verify it:
This 17 seconds clip is basically OKC's problem in a nutshell. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/VP8H7hgu23M?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
As REED Suggested Earlier, OKC Should Run More Sets w/Durant On the Low Block...As is, Durant is EXCLUSIVELY a Perimeter Guy, Which is a WASTE of a 6'11 Body... In Lieu of Post Play, OKC Should Run More Pick & Roll or Pick & Pop w/Durant & Westbrook...WHO is the Defense Gonna Focus On, in that Situation???...If Durant is Setting the Screen, are You Gonna ALLOW Westbrook to Drive OR Are you Gonna ALLOW Durant Wide Open, Uncontested Jumpers???...If Westbrook Screens & Rolls to the Basket, Just Throw the Rock Near the Rim & He'll CLIMB for It... Stockton & Malone SUCCESSFULLY Ran Pick & Roll for DECADES...Durant & Westbrook would TERRORIZE the NBA w/It...BOTH Guys Can Handle, BOTH Guys Can Penetrate, BOTH Guys Can Finish @ the Rim & BOTH Guys have Reliable Outside Shots.. REED:mj:
If Durant decided to bulk up a little and work on his leg strength, a pick n pop system between them would be almost impossible to stop.
:: at using Durant as a sceener. Slight difference trying to get around a pick he sets compared to Karl malone
If Dirk turned into a solid screener, Durant could do it too. He needs to work on strength and add a couple of pounds.
I have worked as a bouncer, and friends who still do so, they get into fights with athletes all the time, shootings and everything.
Nets shopping DWill, JJ and Lopez. They are not expiring contracts yet so they might not get anything for them until the offseason. Lopez is another Yao, he will always be injured. JJ is still good and clutch. Would be good if he returned to Phoenix and played alongside Dragic. Williams is a sytem player. under the right coach, he would thrive. http://espn.go.com/new-york/nba/sto...trades-deron-williams-brook-lopez-joe-johnson
Also don't forget the owner is shopping the franchise. I wish him luck with that, Brooklyn lost the most money last season and the margin between them and the next worst team was hilariously high.
With the Clippers selling at a record setting 2 billion dollars, NBA franchises will sell sky high. Especially a NY based franchise with a brand new arena like the Barclays.
I see some of you jackass's talking that shit, it's all good though. But, let's clear some things up... Massacure, we went back and forth about Amare vs Yao. For an entire season, maybe even longer. NOT Yao vs Shaq. Turns out, they were both on about the same level as players, only Yao hung them up when he knew he was done, meanwhile the Knicks have been trying to unload Amare for years, with no takers. Amare can still be a useful player for 20mins a game I guess. It's good to see you back btw. REED. Dude, we have had our squabbles for 10+ years, and the last time I layed down some nasty shit, I shouldn't have done that, my apologies. Now to the basketball side... Beverley is not a dirty player, one of your favorite players ever, CWEBB backed me up on national television saying as much! Bev is an in your face defender, relentless on every play. I like Bev for many of the same reasons you like Westbrook, the competitiveness. 2nd team all defensive team last year. HE was a nobody in Russia two years ago. It's a cool story. I don't know how much longer he will be a Rocket though... The jokes how I hype up the Rockets are warranted, I never said I wasn't biased. That's my team. I'm no bandwagoner. If peeps are going to hate on me for that, so be it. All the "Harden don't play defense" has to stop, unless he goes back to his old ways, so far this year... Harden is #1 in defensive win shares. If you don't know what that means, look it up. His Defensive rating is #8 in the NBA according to basketballreference.com and he's #8 in steals with 1.9 per and he's adding in 1.2 blocks as well. Harden is playing OUTSTANDING defense this year. Asthma must be cured :: In other non Rocket news.... Thunder and Pistons talking Reggie Williams/Greg Monroe swap. Lakers are talking to Cavs about Waiters. Offering Wes Johnson + Jordan Hill + Houston's 1st round pick. Lakers are also one of the teams inquiring for DWill.
This year, he is a SCRUB. He has regressed for a few seasons now. If he keeps it up, he'll be out of the league soon.
I've seen most of the Thunder's games. Now that Westbrook and Durant are back it looks like they're going right back to the same iso game they had before with either Durant, Westbrook, or Reggie JACKSON mostly hogging the ball while nobody makes cuts to the rim or any kind of set plays. At least Durant will occasionally go into a mode where he's playing team ball. Westbrook makes the occasional flashy pass but for the most part has blinders on going to the rim, but Jackson, he tends to hog it unless W&D are in the game. Bottom line we seriously need a new coach. There's no excuse for wasting the talent of a guy like Perry Jones and even to a smaller extent Roberson. So glad Sefolosha's gone, heard he's like 2 for 20 on 3's this season. Morrow has been a much, much better upgrade so far. Not only does he seem to hit a lot of 3's but he's a straight up shooter and hits his mid ranges a lot too. Perk has been much better and hasn't pissed me off this season. I've actually liked him better than Adams this season which isn't a good thing. Lance Stephenson is horrible though. Dude has no offensive game and we would have been better off keeping Telfair. Lamb seems to be a bust, too much of an inconsistent shooter.
