Khan vs Alexander: Who wins this battle of eye cancers?

Alexander just can't brawl and go for broke, just not in him to do that... At this point his best bet is to pretend to be hurt and hope dumb khan jumps all over him and leaves an opening

 

The only chance Thurman has against Khan is to catch him with something. Otherwise Khan whitewashes him 12-0. I'd love to see Thurman try to switch to southpaw and back in front of someone as fast as Khan.

99% of this forum would predict Maidana to beat both Khan and Alexander easily even though those fights already happened and he lost both of them.

Yep, this forum is pathetic when it comes to Khan. Never seen a fighter get so denigrated for pretty much nothing. Pretty sure its based on the american and british hatred of anything arab(yeah i know, hes parki, but for them, its all the same) and muslim.

 

I have lost a lot of respect for almost all of fightbeat. Not just on Khan but other subjects as well.

Very few people here actually know boxing. Very few.

That's why guys like Provodnokov and Thurman get hailed as boxing gods here before they've actually done anything.

Well, if you cant see that their is some racial prejudice when it comes to khan, you re as blind as you re dumb.

And if you dont think their is not a strong racial discrimination towards arabs, parki and muslims, you obvioulsy havent read a lot on the subject (unsurprisingly, since you ve proven to be a simpleton, i must add), since pretty much all scientific study have proven that such a biais exist.

Its only baseless if you are clueless on the subject. As i said previously, their is a lot of scientific papers and books on the subject.

 

It could be that folks here are skeptical about khan because he went life and death with julio Diaz more so than him being britistani

 

Khan did what he had to do. Devon's style and tendencies benefited him and he was able to stay outside and button mash his way to a decision.

He'll probably get the Floyd fight now. I don't think he deserves it but I doubt Floyd will face Pacman or Thurman.

 

I'd like to see Thurman-Maidana. I'd pick Thurman to win but it wouldn't be easy or comfortable.

 

Just finished watching the fights, Khan looked very impressive. Based on what I saw, the idea of Thurman being more dangerous to Floyd than Pacquiao or even being able to beat Khan are laughable.

 

Lefties are the most racist group there are.

 

It looks impressive when you see Khan putting his punches together in 3-4s etc, but I think he could generate more power if he threw less and turned into his shots more. Still, he pretty much dominated Alexander who really struggled greatly to deal with Khan all round.

 

THe reasons for disliking Khan are manifold. Is there racism and ethnic bias, yes, of course. Is it dominant. No.

The criticism should lie somewhere between Garcia Sr's "I ain't never seen a Pakistanian that could fight" on one hand, and the Guardian Newspapers "Khan is the greatest thing since Mewhammed Ali"

Khan seems to be dumb as fuck, and has all the worst aspects of the "guided fighter", {dressing room appearances with Ricky Hatton, handshakes for the camera, the Kindelan farce rematch} and cannot really fight in the true sense of the word.

However, he is not as mean as Hamed or as cynical as Joe Calzaghe, and despite not being a fraction as talented as either, his "affability" should count for something.

I figured Dayvon would bring very little and this fight was chosen on the basis that Alexander would stylistically provide no threat.

 

I'd consider both hut & clogg to be more neo-liberal than leftist, personally. I don't think either of them are racist, though
