I don't remember Fitch ever being subbed that easily. Everyone knows Palhares will go for leg locks, and he still gets them.

it's fucking crazy - If I was a fighter i'd fucking refuse to face this dude... You can't even tap fast enough to not get your knee flamingoed... I think I'd scream tap the second he remotely grazes me below the belt line.

Joe Rogan hit the nail on the head about leg locks. When they hurt, it's too late.

Fitch is obviously a shell of the fighter that once fought for a UFC title, but it was still an impressive win for Palhares. I honestly can't wait for him to fight Jake Shields in the WSOF. If Shields beats Brian Foster in January, he will be the next one in line to face Palhares and his leg locks.

Everyone knew it was a mismatch, but the Machida fight was fun. :) One body kick was all it took. I hope he gets a top 10 fighter next.

    He should fight Rockhold.

Rockhold would be a good fight. Or Jacare.

I think Machida has enough left for another run at the title. Fights like the one tonight are fun, but this doesn't get him closer to another title shot.

Looks like Dolloway found out if he's good enough to hang with the elite of the Middleweight division.

Machida now has easy KO wins over Bader and Dollaway. Is there anyone else at Power MMA in Tempe that he needs to beat down?

Pretty silly fight really. I thought Machida was overrated back in the day, but it is clear he's an elite fighter, a sort of lower-mid level elite fighter.

And it's always been clear that power nerd Dollaway is nowhere near an elite fighter.

Gotta admit though, that was a hell of a kick.

It was hilarious watching that power nerd's shocked, grimacing expression as he cowered into the ropes :atu:
