Celtic face Inter in a rematch of the 1967 European Cup final

Of course, the fortunes of both clubs have changed quite a bit

I don't think they're going to let me get time off work to go to Switzerland to watch Young Boys.

If you don't a bit more Young Boys research at work they just might give you all the time you need. :giggle:

Another defeat away from home. That's eight from eight I think. Not good enough and if it carries on like that we will go down.

We were missing SUPER CHARLIE AUSTIN tonight but I agree, it's just not good enough, especially when you take into account how good we've been playing at Loftus Road this season, we should be able to translate that into some away points but we set up with no ambition at all away from the Bush.

True. Inter lost the 1967 final. Their fortunes changed for the better when, just four years ago, they were crowned European Champions for the third time.

Did 'arry go with a flat five in midfield and one up front? What a load of cack that is. I know we were missing Austin and I don't think Zamora is 100% fit, but still. If we have a fully fit team why don't we line up with an attacking 4-3-3 or diamond? Five across the park means you're just congesting the midfield. Why play safe when we could just go for it!

I think he played Vargas up front right? With Phillips out on the wing. To be fair it makes sense, it's just the formation which is the issue for me. So fucking negative.

It is because he holds the ball up well and brings others into play. 'arry must be aiming to win the game 0-1.

Zamora is a brilliant partner to SUPER CHARLIE AUSTIN, he's not a guy I'd have leading the line though (despite the fact he scored tonight)

Yeah, Vargas up top. I hate negative formations. I guess in some games it's required but not Everton away who have not performed all that good all season.

I think this is our away record (over the last three seasons we've been in the EPL).

    Played: 46
    won: 5
    drawn: 7
    lost: 34
    points: 22/138

So it arrived today. It's not even that cold but it already burst just sitting in my mailbox. I will give it a try tomorrow.
