Intrigue in England, not here. Showtime has lost money on three out of the last four Mayweather fights. I can see them working on a deal with HBO to make the Pacquiao fight ahead of a fight with Khan. Khan would probably make more money fighting Brook than Mayweather. Khan isn't Canelo. Canelo made $12 million...Khan isn't worth $12 million. he'd be lucky to get what Maidana made in the rematch which is just over $3 million. I'm pretty sure Maidana made $1.5 or so for the first match.

I can see Khan's team pricing themselves out of the fight. I get the feeling they walk around with the belief they're as powerful as Mayweather.

Maidana's Signature Win SHITS on GGG's, Undoubtedly...Hell, KO'ing Victor Ortiz is More of a Signature Win than ANYTHING GGG's Done....

But Please Don't Let FACT Besmirch the Good Name of THE Greatest SUPPOSITION/HUNCH Fighter that Ever Lived....

How so? Ortiz is the biggest pussy in the sport, a total fucking headcase... Broner some sort of elite fighter now???

Khan's biggest accomplishment is barely escaping Maidana (like i said, I had it 113-113)

GGG hasn't even been in a close fight, he just kills motherfuckers

Has anyone actually said they believe GGG is P4P #1, or he's the second coming of Hagler? Is it such a crime to appreciate the talents of one fighter.

But if you take Khan and Pacquiao out of the equation, who can Floyd fight to generate better PPV sales? Thurman? I'm not so sure.

A rematch vs. Cotto for THE middleweight championship of the world....but since Canelo is next....so

    yeah NOBODY...

But even making Khan fight will be a problem....Khan might think his worth more than he actually is....AND..AND the PPV number in the states is not going to be that great..Floyd might want to dig into Khan share of PPV in the UK...

Floyd's PPv numbers will be what they will be with or without Khan. I'm sure many/most US based guys here would agree a fight with Khan doesn't move the needle here. England, absolutely. Here, not a chance.

Khan beat Maidana and yet many (including myself) felt Maidana had earned a fight with Mayweather moreso than Khan. And let's be honest, Khan's style isn't exciting and neither is Floyd's. Put those two together and you've got a recipe for diasater and a boring ass fight.

I understand why English blokes want the fight, Yanks not so much.

Plus, after this last round of back and forth by Manny and Floyd if they don't fight in May both might as well go away. The fight is already 5 years past it's stale date.

I can't see Mayweather-Pacquiao happening on May 2nd, no way, especially as it looks as though Canelo and Cotto will fight each other on that date. Arum and DLH both agree that that's Canelo's date, because of the Mexican holiday. It's obviously going to be a huge event.

Khan is really the best option, surely, then Pacquiao in September.

There's no denying Khan's obsession with Floyd, but the crazy thing (I feel) is Khan believes Floyd's constantly thinking about a fight with him. Khan's mentioned in interviews that when Floyd speaks about other possible opponents (and doesn't bring up his name), it's just an attempt to get inside his head  perhaps there's some truth in that...not......I don't think Floyd loses any sleep over a potential fight with Khan.

I found it hilarious when a reporter told Floyd that Khan believes he's starting to look his age (I think it was after the Maidana rematch). Then, when asked about what he thinks of Khan, Floyd responded with:

''He's a solid, good competitor, he's a good fighter, you know, but when he was an amateur, I was champion, when he lost his belt for the first time, I was champion, when he got KO'd the first time, I was champion and when he got KO'd the second time, I was champion, and I'm still the champ now.'' He said something along those lines anyway.

All Aloooooooooooong, the POINT has Been PERCEPTION/REALITY of Khan/GGG...

To REED the Typewritten Thoughts of MOST Fightbeaters, Regarding Amir Khan, it's as if he's a SCRUB or JUST Above...Doing Likewise w/MOST Fightbeaters, in Regards to GGG, it's as if he's a GOD...ALREADY...

    But Look @ their Resumes...

No, Khan's ISN'T a Murderer's Row of Foes, but GGG's PALES in Comparison, Meaning it SUCKS...It's Actually LAUGHABLE that Guys are Trying to DIMINISH Khan's Resume, While Vehemently Trumpeting GGG's Cause...Again, this ISN'T Even a Debatable Point; Khan's Resume is BETTER...Nonetheless, the Guy w/the BETTER Resume, the Guy who's Actually FOUGHT Better Fighters, the Guy who's Actually BEATEN Better Fighters is the Resident PUNCHLINE, While the Less Accomplished, Unproven Guy is PRAISED to the High Heavens...

The HATE/HYPE Ratio is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay Out of Whack, in Regards to Khan/GGG & the Kicker is, it's THE SAME Motherfuckers UNDERrating 1, OVERrating the Other...

In the Last Few Pages Alone, Amir Khan HASN'T Even Been Able to Get Proper Credit for Having the BETTER Resume than GGG, when that's TRANSPARENTLY Obvious...

Khan Has 1 MORE Signature Win than GGG, Who has as Many as YOU or REED Does...Yet, the Usual Suspects Denigrate Khan's Win, In Lieu of Hoping, Expecting, DEMANDING the Same from GGG...The Same Guys Hating on Khan are CONTENT w/GGG Continuing to Beat Up on 160lb No Hopers for the Next Several Years....

Having a HUNCH about a Guy is Fine & Dandy, but @ SOME Point, he's Got to Actually DO Something, Doesn't He???...

REED Doesn't Think Amir Khan is Better than GGG Anymore than the Next Guy, but @ the Same Time, if they Both Retired TODAY, Khan Would EASILY Be the More ACCOMPLISHED Fighter w/the SUPERIOR Resume...& that's w/a SIMILAR # of Fights & Khan Being Nearly 4 Years YOUNGER than GGG...

    How So???...

Because, for the 3,592,140th Time, GGG HAS NOT FOUGHT ANYONE...

Compare/Contrast Ortiz's Resume to that of GGG's BEST Opponent???...Do the Same w/Broner & GGG's BEST Opponent???...Ortiz AND Broner have Each Done MORE Than ANYBODY GGG's Faced, Unless an Old Ass Ouma Counts...

That CANNOT Be Altered by the Fact Ortiz & Broner are Disliked...If Broner or Ortiz were Legit Middleweights, EITHER of Them Would IMMEDIATELY Become GGG's Signature Win...

I'm a big fan of GGG and I expect him to produce the goods when he comes up against a true legit opponent. As of now, though, he's not fought any outstanding/elite fighters and in all honesty he shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Floyd, Pac or Ward...even Rigo or Kovalev (who have ''signature win'' over Donaire and Hopkins). Froch, too, should/is rightfully well ahead of GGG in the P4P ratings.

Bradley-Chaves averaged 966K viewers this past Saturday night on HBO while on Showtime Khan-Alexander averaged 762K viewers.

What is Ortiz's biggest accomplishment exactly? Andre Berto? Come on... Furthermore, Khan hasn't actually fought him or Broner so why is he getting credit by-proxy for Maidana beating those guys?? That's ridiculous

Degrees of victory matter... Khan's signature win is a draw IMO, he's been blasted out twice, once by a scrub and he lost to Lamont Peterson on top of that... He has struggled to defeat such comically poor opposition as Julio Diaz... What's his most impressive performance? Pauli Malignaggi?? Old ass Judah?? Gimme a break... These are names only... Golovkin absolutely dominates and destroys his opposition, nobody is ever in the fight... Khan has one good showing against a guy tailor-made for him and all of the sudden people have forgotten how ridiculously vulnerable he is and how shitty he has looked much of the time, often against opposition that surely can not seriously be considered any better than Golovkin's comp (Diaz, Collazo, Molina... He was not impressive against any of these scrubs) ...

Serious question... Are there fighters between 140-154 NOT NAMED Mayweather or Pacquaio that you can definitely see beating Khan? I can think of a few

Are there any fighters not named Andre Ward between 154 and 168 that you would pick to beat Golovkin?

I understand your logic but, honestly, Khan isn't a draw here either. He ran to HBO after arguably the least successful PPV spell by any UK fighter in UK PPV history. They were so bad that SKY stopped releasing them in the end.

If Khan-Floyd happens, Floyd is the draw here. His fight with Hatton makes Floyd arguably the most recognisable boxer in the UK.

Khan has a better resume than GGG. GGG's is woeful. I agree that he is being avoided and that he is suffering from a terrible division and that he would light Khan up P4P or at 160 or whatever, but GGG's resume right now is hideous. You can give him credit for blasting out mook after mook in the manner befitting a very good fighter but that doesn't diminish the fact that they were mooks.

Kotelnik, Alexander, Maidana (Khan won that fight. The scores were right on the money for once), Paulie. Four wins for the boxbot that are better than any of GGG's. What is GGG's best win? The guy who lost to Darren Baker?
