The baby needs Oxygen, calories and water and to have the waste products drawn off. It can be done via the existing systems that they use for life support victims.

So where's the controversy, is somebody actively trying to block the cesarean needed to save the baby? Or is that the doctors want to keep her alive longer so the baby will have a better chance?

The doctors won't take her off the Life Support as they are obliged by law to keep the child alive too, as the Irish Constitution recognizes the unborn child as having the right to life.

According to Leo Varadkar {that's a right Irish name is that} this creates a lot of pressure for the poor doctors.

The same place he would be if the mother had decided to have an abortion in the first place.

    Nowhere.

Hard to impose obligations on somebody who had no rights in the first place.

The family as a social unit is being destroyed.

Nobody asks the father for fuck all except cash.

Unborn Child......is what it says in the Irish Constitution, which was drafted at the same time that the Chamberlain was in bed with Hitler.

The Irish haven't always been ahead of their time, but when they were, they were really far ahead.

If the shit written about Roy Keane's departure from Aston Villa is true, then I don't understand the furore towards him as he was totally in the right. In fact, if I were a Villa fan I would be furious at what I was reading; "The problem with Keane is that he expects the same standards he was used to at United, but the Villa lads aren't paid enough to put up with that crap" - you fucking what? That is precisely the reason they are where they are.

    Roy is rarely wrong.

But he is Irish, so it gets played out like he is some sort of unhinged degenerate.

The papers aren't interested in the truth, merely clicks and income.

When Keane was signed by United, it was for a then-record of £3.5m quid or something. He was paid a fraction of what Cake Toure is on.

Most children do die outside the womb. I guess they are feetus diabeetus too.

In any event.........we can only presume, being 4 months up the duff, that she wanted to have the child.

And, it was after all, HER decision. :wack:

The same gang of fucking lib-lab loonies went fucking mad when the State gave some doctors the go-ahead "terminate the pregnancy"...and the doctors did just that by delivering the child

When the loonies challenged it, they were smacked down and told that terminating a pregnancy and terminating the life of the child need not be inclusive.

 I had a good laugh at that.

Having worked in England for 2 years, and in a corporate setting in London for over one year, I am fairly well in tune with the sort of gutless , hopelessness of the white englishman....terrified of saying anything about a so-called minority, he reserves his spleen for a suitably pale negro, that is the Irishman.

    Now fuck off.

The main reason Keane’s opinion is derided ba many is no’ that he’s Irish, but rather, that he’s as mad as a fish as are Ye.

Noo, alsae like Keane, Ye've chosen tae work fer the gutless, hopeless, white Englishman...

Well, Ah say that, but the corporate setting Ye boast o’ has seen Ye reap the benefits o’ working fer a black female boss (a brave, hopeful, black Englishwoman) and Ah hope Ye’ve learnt a wee bit aboot equality and diversity as Ye’ve assisted Britain in the delivery o’ it’s public sector mechanism.

The poonds Ye’ve been taxed at soource fer have been invested in the greater good o’ the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland and, amongst things, have helped sustain the Royal Family and fund the successful 2012 Olympic Games. Yer work alsae helps saepport such progressive thinking as 'Pro Choice' and the medical resources required to provide agREED terminations, as deemed necessary. In many ways, Ah consider Ye tae noo be a prood Britain and as such Ah’d like Ye tae join me, the Pakistanis, the Somalis and the Poles in the singing o’ OOR national anthem, like.

    God Save YOUR Queen!

I had a Chicken Cottage on Tuesday and had food poisoning which lasted all the way through until yesterday. I'm still feeling some of the effects now, don't ever go there.

The story was in the guardian today. Bizarro world. 'Its an unconscionable disgrace that a woman, robbed of her autonomy, can be forced by the state to incubate a fetus like this' said some spokesperson for 'Doctors for Choice'.

    Whit?
