Yes you did, it was mere weeks ago And now DLH wasn't shot when he fought Pacquaio? I'm done with you If that isn't a shot fighter, then there's no such thing as a shot fighter
A lot of people picked Ali to beat Holmes... After all, he looked so slim and trim for the fight... Therefore, not shot:hair:
Absolutely, but that is clear with hindsight. At the time, people thought Manny would be hammered. No way was that a cherry-pick fight. MTF
DLH really was tailor-made for Pac.. a weight-drained old guy with no right hand, who relied on speed he no longer had. And we all knew he was old, we all knew he was weight-drained, and we all knew he had no right hand. The only question mark was the size differential.
Ehhhhhh, I dunno. The Pac that beat Cotto wouldn't be an easy fight for ANY version of Oscar. Handspeed has always been a problem for Oscar. You factor that with Manny being a southpaw with the ability to punch from awkward angles, AND having power........ I don't see how he's ever a favorable fight for Oscar. And this is mainly due to the fact that Oscar had no right hand, ever. If we're about talking about Pac vs Ray Leonard, then Manny gets destroyed. But Oscar is a different story.....
Cotto is a fragile doll made extra fragile by sweating down a little but extra to a nonexistent weight class so he could get some PAC dollars
zoo at his best and pac at his best is a great fight i'd go with pac and have zoo moving to mexico, not like tijuana but somewhere more like belize, maybe living on the beach and opening a business renting out jet skis he could call it "Zoo's Cruise" and have really fast Jet skis for rent.
Yup.. '99 Hoya is a much tougher fight for Manny, but it's still a pick em IMO. The speed and southpaw stance would give any version of DLH problems.. the mummified kangaroo meat eating version that came down from MW had no chance at all.
Yeah, Cdogg saying Oscar "whups" him is unreasonable. Who did Oscar ever easily "whup" who was as good as 09 Pac? If we're talking Leonard, Duran, or Hearns, then it's a terrible matchup for Manny. But Oscar wasn't in the same league as those 3.
