@140 The De La Hoya at 140 who fought Chavez and Gonzalez in '96 vs The King who decimated Dev-Alex the other week... Good MM, this...
Oscar controls him with a jab in the early round, then blast him with a left hook in about 4-5 rounds.
It's all well and good to say 'Oscar uses that jab to control and set-up the left hook'...ut against slow-ass Mexican, face-first boxers....
That's the fight that immediately came to mind when I saw this matchup......BUT I think De La Hoya would use a bit of caution early if Khan comes out with his retard aggression n speed....but he can always CATCH Khan with a left hook n early real early....... though Khan chin is shit..I think it will take more than just one punch....
You know how you control retard aggression? With a jab to the face...plus Khan footwork n balance is shit....PERFECT punch...
Can't see Khan lasting more than 2 rounds, honestly. Oscar might be cautious in the first round due to Khan's button mashing but he'd spot the openings and Khan's shitty chin will do the rest. I'd say Oscar KO 2. Carries too much power and speed in his left hook for Khan to deal with.
We're talking about a guy who got knocked dead in 1 round by Bredis Prescott, and in 4 by Garcia. The chances of Khan surviving a DLH left hook are 0.
I just see no way Khan gets out of the early rounds. Oscar starts fast and even if Khan wants to run, De La Hoya would cut him off and I can see Khan getting layed out with a combination from Oscar. De La Hoya would have to have a really bad night for Khan to last past the early rounds.
