    Cormier finally got a takedown in the 5th, but it didn't matter.

    Not for nothing but Cormier looked beaten after the 3rd round. He didn't completely give up but the wind was out of his sails.

    As I thought, Jones did clinch up with Cormier and absolutely controlled him. As decorated a wrestler as Cormier is, with a cage involved he was no match grappling with Jones.

    Jones won 4-1. Couldve been 3-2. Intense fight. Jones is the man. His post fight interview was great. I expect them to fight again towards the end of this year.

    At the end of the day, jones was the more complete mma fighter. Cormier had some success on the inside but jones defended well and was more fluid with his striking and also appeared to have a better clinch game. Wasnt surprising to see him take cormier down.
