Judging by that pic, Broner is obviously a big coke consumer. Cdogg should be his fan.

We've all said it time and time again but he's clearly not 100% dedicated to his craft judging by these sort of pics. There are many fighters at a much lower level to Broner, for instance, who sacrificed christmas with their families to be in the gym training. That's dedication.

Broner's biggest problem isn't conditioning. He actually showed good stamina in the Taylor fight, as he was able to fight at a fast pace for all 12 rounds and finished strong.

Broner's problem is that he thinks he's as talented as Floyd, and is clearly NOT.

His defense is very leaky, and his power doesn't seem to have moved up with him from 135.

Those are his biggest problems. The fact that he's a fat ass in-between fights will come back to bite him in the ass when he's 29-30, but right now he can get away with it.

He won't be a factor in the sport when he's 29-30 anyway.

Agreed on all counts, the main thing he's just not very good. Stamina/conditioning is the least of his problems.

The problem is he's nowhere near the elite fighter he thought he was. He has fast hands and a good lead right, and that really is it. He can't punch above 135, has no workrate, not much skill or variety, not good defense, he's not mobile or agile, etc etc.

I remember a video of him sparring at the Mayweather gym, where he was taking on some amateur kid and talking shit throughout. He was saying stuff like "you won't catch me man" - trying to show off to Floyd who was watching, and tried copying that thing Floyd does where he yells "nope!" after making the opponent miss. The thing is, every time Broner yelled "nope!" he'd just taken a flush left hand to the face

He needs to learn the mayweather hit - then - hold loop hole.

Like mayweather, when Broner isn't beating up on smaller guys, he can't get the ko. So essentially, he needs to learn to cheat his way around the ring like mayweather does.

Are you REALLY gonna act like Broner and Floyd are even in the same league? If so, you've hit a new low.

Love or hate Floyd, he was born with boxing ability that only comes along once every boxing generation.

Broner comes a dime a dozen.

I didn't recognise Broner's opponent but he got some good licks in. Not surprising though as Broner isn't all that good.

I think Floyd is laughing AT Broner in that video. He's not laughing with him, but AT him.

Broner got hit more in that session that Floyd used to in some fights.

Was recalling the bizarre hand-blown incident in pbf/maidana. I don't think it even happened. I think it was completely fabricated by pbf in an attempt to get mainstream press.

Also, if rjj, pac, pbf can't all be once in a generation caliber fighters? Can they?

Even if Broner had more talent, his lack of discipline would come back to haunt him anyway. Dude thinks he can beat Pacquiao, is he nuts?

I see Broner ending up like Mayorga in that he'll be that stepping stone fight someone needs if they're gonna make a come back.

Whether he he invests his money by the time he gets out of the game is another matter.

Literally? No, but technically they're all once in a generation caliber fighters. Honestly I wouldn't put Pac in the same category as guys like Roy and Floyd. Those IMO are the 2 generational fighters who've done things we've never seen before or since. IMO Pac is the type of guy who may come around again. Pac is kind of like a lesser next-Duran type fighter.

I think rjj and pbf are both innovators with amazing talent. But to me, pacquiao is the more "larger than life" fighter. And actually, pacquiao is every bit as talented as rjj and pbf. And his fights are so much more exciting!

PBF's whole routine, in and out of the ring, has just gotten so tiring. It's like, who cares anymore?

Nobody is as talented as Roy and PBF. Nobody can do what they do/did they way that they did it. Many guys can fight the way Pac does although maybe not quite as effectively. Pacquiao was a great fighter and an extremely talented guy, but RJJ had the kind of offensive reflexes that simply cannot be taught or duplicated and PBF Floyd had the kind of defensive reflexes that simply can't be taught. Pacquiao was really good with timing and accuracy but really what he did/does is nothing we haven't seen before. I think to try to compare his talent to those 2 guys is a bit off base. IMO Pacquiao is more on Mosley's level as a talent, not Roy's and Floyd's.

Pacquiao is more talented than Floyd, quite clearly so imo. Floyd is more skilled, with some of the best defense in boxing history.

Saying Pacquaio was as talented as Jones is downright laughable.
