While we are disappointed in the failed test, we applaud him for making this decision to enter a drug treatment facility. Jon is a strong, courageous fighter inside the Octagon, and we expect him to fight this issue with the same poise and diligence.

Uhh, he' not battling anything. He did some coke and got busted by an untimely test. Now he's playing the game; now the UFC is playing the game. Why? Because he makes them $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

DC is a fighter. Been fighting his whole life. He is also a grown man. He wont be beat by this. He will just get better. Lets not forget the man is still relatively new to the sport. A loss in MMA to a guy like DC can do a whole lot of Good.

Anyway, he should be out in a month or two and ready to fight the winner for Gus/Rumble

Agreed, however I was surprised at how tried he was late on in the fight. Daniel is a fresh fighter but at 35, can he really improve his cardio to beat a guy like Jones.

I felt for DC in the post fight presser, he looked devastated. I hope the guy takes some time out and comes back even stronger.

In Some Instances, THE WORST Thing a Fighter Can Do is Take an Extended Break, After a Devastating Loss...It just Lingers & LINGERS...

If the Fighter was Knocked Out Cold, was in a Grueling Back & Forth WAR or Suffered Cuts & Bruises, Sure, Get Away for Awhile...But this Loss was More PSYCHOLOGICAL than Anything...

Might Be Best for Cormier to Get Back into the Cage Sooooooner, Rather than Later, to Get this TASTE Out of his Mouth...

Doesn't Cormier need knee surgery? I thought he postponed the surgery when they offered him the title shot.

Dana kind of said the same thing i said earlier.

"Herb Dean, I always talk about him; I think he's my favorite referee. He did a horrible job in the fifth round," White said in a post-fight interview on FOX. "He let them clinch, literally for five minutes, but other than that, it was an amazing fight."

you're probably right, I'm not advocating an extended break but some time off, remove himself from the spotlight especially the TV work for a few weeks.

DC looked genuinely heartbroken after the fight. Did you see the vine with Cain?

anyway he's a smart guy with a great team, he'll make the right move.
