This is a very compelling game. Two injured top level QB's gutting it out, Julius Peppers being Julius Peppers, missed FG, DeMarco fumble followed by a nice recovery by him on the next drive. :bears:
Dallas got completely fucked by the refs. That is a bullshit call Bryant had the catch clear as day and took steps with the ball. That wasn't the first bad call against the Cowboys this game either. Bullshit. This shit is driving me crazy.
That wasn't just the refs though, it got reviewed.. and still catching the ball taking 3 steps with it in clear solid possession, getting tripped, and having the ball touch the ground as you go down.. is NOT a catch???!! WTF do you have to do to get a catch in this league? That is not even comparable to the Lions call/non-call fiasco. The game hinged on this play and Dez made an amazing catch and got SCREWED.
Also noticed that Romo is NOT in the protected class of QB's like Rogers, Manning, Brady........ One of those last sacks when 3 Packers surrounded him, one of them obviously tried to tear his head sideways while he was already in the grasp. Nobody said a goddamn word. Also tired of Mike Perreira in the booth.
You say that like it's not a universal issue across the NFL. You can call holding on just about every play in the NFL if you wanted to. All of a sudden it's only a factor when Romo is involved? I was a little bemused when the league decided to out themselves on that particular call. It goes on every fucking game.
I'm not saying it doesn't happen all the time, I'm just saying there were some glaringly obvious non calls the past 2 weeks. TFK
