You know what I think Broner could beat him.

It's not likely that Valero really hits any harder than Maidana.

I think if Broner had his head and ass wired together he could beat this guy.

Broners power would not be diminished at 135 like it was vs Maidana.

Broner would probably also be the fastest guy Valero ever fought.

IMHO...its up to Broner if he wants to win this.

Valero by decision I think but I'd be interested in how effective broner's right hand leads could be

Valero was shite but I think I'd pick him to win, Broner is crap too and just doesn't throw enough.

Valero had a good boxing brain. Solid timing and judged distance well too. I believe the better the opponent, the better he performed.

Valero would have knocked Broner out.

Valero tortured his opponents. And he would've done the same to Broner.

To his credit, Broner beat up DeMarco more impressively than Valero did. I'm not sure who I'd pick in this one. Broner was better at 135 than he is at 140 or 147. And the Valero myth grows by the day, when he never beat anyone as good as Broner.

True, but Broner never beat anybody as good as Valero. I'm not convinced he got his ass kicked by Maidana because of the weight class alone either.

But who's to say Valero beats Maidana?

We only have one common opponent to go off of; DeMarco. Broner beat him more impressively.

For the record, I'd pick Valero. I think he had more natural ability than Broner. Wouldn't say it's a sure thing, however.

Valero wouldn't find it difficult to hit Broner and once he does, Broner would aim to hold Valero for as long as possible, just like he did against Maidana for long spells.

Same. I'm not looking for a back and forth between these two pieces of human garbage. It's not just talent, but styles and temperament. Valero would miss wildly with some bombs, but more would be forthcoming. I don't think Valero was the next great thing but I do believe he could bring more heat than Maidana did.

Broner...is an idiot but let's not put him in the same class as Valero, who was a straight up lunatic who went psychopathic after his head-injury.

Imagine...if God was a real wind-up merchant, he'd have put the Valero injury on Sal Sanchez...show the World what a proper fucking machine looks like.
