Yeah but I would not have made a penny....all bets during the 90 minutes are for the 90 minutes only. It resets if it goes to ET and Pennos.

Dunno what to make of this.......I think its probably a good result overall for the teams eyeing up 4th, they could all make the case that Everton weren't going to get it and West Ham just played two massive games and are still in an FA Cup I am not sure they need to be in.

I think that's West ham's first win over Everton since 2006/2007.

Which goal is better oot o' these two, like?

    From BBC:

'James Rodriguez has won the Fifa goal of the year award for his World Cup strike against Uruguay, beating Irishwoman Stephanie Roche. Netherlands striker Robin van Persie was third for his diving header against Spain in the World Cup.

Roche, who scored a stunner for Peamount against Wexford in the Irish top flight, had hoped to be the first female winner of the Puskas Award. She landed 33% of the public vote to Rodriguez's 42% of the 3.3m cast.

Rodriguez's control and volley from 25 yards in the last-16 tie was enough to win the award. The 23-year-old, then at Monaco, was the top scorer in the World Cup and joined Real Madrid after the tournament.

Roche's spectacular effort in the Bus Eireann Women's National League was in front of an estimated 95 people on 13 October 2013'

Rodriguez would have been playing at a higher level when he was 13 years old. If i was Hamez I'd refuse to accept the award in protest at the comparison.

Obviously the level is higher, much higher, but if we're just taking the goals at face value, the execution etc, Roach's was better. That was a quality goal, can't be denied.

Aye. If a retard scores a 40-yard screamer by accident and Ronaldo scores a tap-in in a champions league final, the retards goal is better, despite the disparity in levels.

Rodriguez goal wasn't as good as Cahills in the Holland game at the same tournament.

This Roche girl is an attention whore and womens football is an attention whore and they can fuck off.

Retards doing things by accident in the bathroom with a jar of KY Jelly and a length of pipe doesn't mean they get an AVN award, does it :dunno:

Yeah i know. Its like everytime he got to 95 somebody beside him started to go..."Aa whwowhw baksfjsfs a jsfjsjfs fsjcshcgha" and he lost the count.

Or the ticketmaster was on the fiddle and couldnt confirm how many tickets he sold. He could have sold 95 or 100 he wasn't sure.

The entire thing reeks of opportunism and an attempt to elevate Womens Shite to the level of real football.

That goal is to Womens Football what the Reichstag Fire was to Hitler. A fucking chance to go "Woooooooooooooooo what do we have here then put the cameras on me now baby I've got the power de-ne-ne-ne"

    Cahills goal was awesome, agreed.

Still though, of the three goals selected, the girls was the best, it just was. I'm no advocate of women's football, it's like watching somebody play Fifa when they're still trying to work out the controls, but it was a blinding goal.

Oh I see. And by that reckoning the first monkey in Space gets more credit than the first American in space.....because...yo...he was there first.

    That's a retarded comparison, man

Stop getting all bent out of shape... When you wake up tomorrow, nobody will give a fuck about women's fitbaw, same as every other day. Who the fuck worries about shit like this?

These chicks like fitbaw, they've played it their whole lives and if somebody wants to have a little league for them or tournaments or whatever, then what's the fucking harm? Let them do their thing... This ain't Tennis where nobody knows the 200th ranked male player in the world who could wipe out the Williams sisters one-handed while they make millions of dollars... This is fitbaw... Women in fitbaw don't make any money at all unless they are pretty and get a shoe deal or something for a few minutes, nobody knows who they are

I have no problem with the womens game per se, what I object to is the Proselytising shite that people go on with.

They are two different sports IMHO.

Have a womens goal of the year....you got womens changing rooms, right....:dunno:

The award was for goal of the year, not footballer of the year. Rodriguez is not the best footballer on the planet.

She wouldn't have had the time she did. Top players will score absurd roy-of-the-rovers goals in training most days when they've loads of time and space

I watched it til the end thinking it was gonna get the ball pinned against a couch or wall and start shagging it. That definitely what it was trying for
