This...and his chin has been a function of the same weight advantage and the psychological impact it has on boxers who feel they cannot hurt him because of it.
He almost pulled an upset in the 12 round against Martinez in a fight he was getting schooled in the previous 11 rounds. Just saying...
I can't see Froch having the same trouble with Chumpez Jr like he had with Groves (movement, reactions and speed). He has a very useful, awkward jab and I think this would trouble the big oaf a lot.
The thing which should be noted is that Froch is a far harder man than the likes of Martinez or Andy Lee. He hits harder, he is bigger, he has a better chin.
Don't get me wrong: I want to watch Froch or anyone else for that matter, to brutalize that fraud Chumpez Jr to the point he will have his daddy crying begging to stop the carnage. But this is boxing. Anything can happen. Chumpez has a remote chance. Just saying...
Chumpez couldn't stop BRIAN FUCKIN VERA! How the Hell is he gonna stop Froch? Chumpez isn't a big puncher at all.
Not quite, but in terms of experience, it would be. I think in England that Froch would be in MORE trouble than if he fought in Vegas, as the crowd would roar him on and he would walk into something big,. I think Froch would give Junior a wide-decision beating.
Vera has gone rounds with many big punchers and Chavez jr is a big puncher. Froch rarely shows vulnerability to big punchers, but I don't think he's been in with a body puncher as good as Chavez.
One good thing about GGG vs Martin Murray is that it is being shown live on terrestrial tv in England.
Arum's saying Chumpez Jr won't be facing Froch because he's still under contract. If this doesn't come off in the next few months, will Froch fight someone else or will he wait on Chumpez?
That's a shame, I was looking forward to the Fighting Farmer giving Chavez a guid auld agricultural thumping.
I don't know about Froch....but Andre Ward has no problem with fighting GGG...in Vegas...Alaska...or Nicaragua... http://www.badlefthook.com/2015/1/9/7523559/andre-ward-has-no-problem-fighting-gennady-golovkin
Fuck knows who he'll fight next, or this year as a matter of fact. I highly doubt Froch wants anything to do with him. There were rumours of Ward-Kessler 2, but I really don't see that happening; totally unnecessary anyway. Chumpez Jr, potentially, yeah, if he ever sorts out his contract bullshit. To be honest, there's nothing left for Ward at 168. I wanna see him move up and fight Kovalev!
Kovalev would stop Carl in a few rounds. Frochs bravery and susceptibility to the sneaky right hand to the head would spell doom for him.
