Crazy that Timmy at 38 years old can still play at such a good level. Even if it is against the Orlando Magic. Does anyone see Dwight Howard playing this well if at all when he turns 38? No way.
90's jersey's were by FAR cooler than today's SUPER UGLY ASS JERSEYS! Circa 96-99, the Rockets, Sonics, Raptors, Pistons, Jazz, and Hawks to name a few all had VERY cool looking jersey's. Especially the Raptors. The original Raptor jerseys were awesome, and NEVER should have changed. The late 90's Pistons jersey's were awesome looking as well. I dunno what happened to the league, but EVERY SINGLE JERSEY of today is ugly as shit!
The Pistons jerseys were horrible. They learned from Boston and kept the classic look, which is awesome. The Raptors had one of the worst jerseys design-wise. Looked made by a 5 yrs old.
The problem with current uniform design is that they focus on minimalist/retro design. Which is not bad, but sometimes end up looking kind of plain. Also, no team should use navy blue in their uniforms. Not even a stripe. Ugly color.
Today's Jersey's are All about MERCHANDISING... Every Squad's Got in Excess of 4+ Regular Jersey's they Rotate...Not to Mention Christmas Jersey's, Mexican Heritage Month Jersey's, Nickname Jersey's, SLEEVED Jerseys... When REED Attended Maverick Games Back in the Day, he Got a Kick Out of Wearing an EXACT Replica of the Jersey Chris Webber Would Be Wearing on the Floor, Kicking Dallas' Ass, that Particular Night...That's What Being a FAN is All About... These Days, there's NOfuckingRHYME or Reason to WHAT Jersey a Team Will Wear or WHEN...It's COMMON to See ROAD Teams Wearing their Customer HOME Jersey's These Days...
