Marvel and DC is cool for films, but I'm not going to get invested in tv shows centered around any of their characters. Fuck The Arrow, The Flash, Gotham, SHIELD, and now fuck Daredevil too. Isn't Super girl getting a tv show some time soon? Yeah? Fuck her too, and I don't mean that literally so calm down pervs.
Couple cool things about this Daredevil show is it has over a 200 million budget so expect better CGI than Flash and the Arrow, and if there ever is a need to put Daredevil in one of the Marvel films they plan to keep continuity by using the same guy from the tv show. Who knows I may just check it out.
REED, were you hittin the blunt when you watched the Affleck movie my brotha? That movie was fuckin garbage. This series looks FAR more promising than the movie.
First full trailer. It looks like they are following very closely Frank Miller's 'Man Without Fear' storyline...and that is a good thing! <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/jAy6NJ_D5vU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Critics are raving (96% certified fresh on rottentomatoes), fans are raving (97% approval) and after watching just the first two episodes, Panchy is giving it the papal blessing: of all the Marvel Cinematic Universe characters brought to the screen so far, this one is THE most faithful and awesome adaptation of them all. It also aims to a level of realism not seen in any Marvel production before. It is gritty, brutal, down to earth and totally believable. To put it bluntly, this Netflix series, Marvel's Daredevil, makes the previous Marvel film look like children's fairy tale...is like comparing Taxi Driver with Bambi. I am pumped, I hate to go to sleep since I want to watch ALL the episodes at once. Even my wife got hooked on this series and she has never bothered to watch any superhero film (the last one was BATMAN in 1989 when we were dating). Yes kiddos, they got this one right. The bar has been raised. I have a big smile on my face right now. 9/10
I have watched most of the episodes and the series remains solid. Very good show. I have a few complains though: can't Daredevil be a little more Mayweather and less Gatti? I mean, he usually beats his opponents, but always leaves the scene either bleeding, all bruised or with some broken bones! I mean, how much punishment can this man receive? Also the fact that certain character finds out his true identity (something that as far as I know hasn't happened in the comicbooks) in the very first freaking season was just plain DUMB IMO. And the final red costume, while practical in design looks more X-menish than it should be. In comparison, Ben Affleck's costume was closer to the original look.
Best fight of the season (even though the season finale last fight was awesome too): <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/4nxvgFaAVCg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I was thinking about this yesterday. He does get his ass kicked a lot. But i kind of find it refreshing.
At first it is, as could happen to any guy in real life, but after a while you groan at how many more broken ribs and wounds his body can endure, just to get a little rest and do it again the next night.
Well that is why he needs the suit. Imagine how many bones Bruce Wayne got before he perfected his style. By The Dark Knight Returns, the guy was all screwed up. It aint easy being human.
The new suit did helped Daredevil from being killed in his last fight. True, but even with that suit he got beaten up all over again as usual. ::
