Agreed with reed. I think that pac looking passive as a lot to do with him not being challenged. He looked as relentless and agressive as ever vs jmm in the fourth fight, before getting ktfo

....& Before Anybody Uses Pac-Marquez IV to Bolster their Argument of Floyd KO'ing Pac, Ask yourself This...

Is Floyd BRAVE Enough to Stand in the Pocket & TAKE what Marquez Took, to Land a Perfectly Timed Shot Such as That???...No GUTS, No GLORY....

Floyd Mayweather Is Not & Has NEVER Been that Type of Fighter...

JMM was juiced like hell too in the 4th fight. If he wasn't juiced, his physical trainer deserves an award for transforming JMM into the Hulk...naturally!

I dont know that there was much in the way of tactics behind Marquez landing that shot - Pac just got his feet mixed up jumping in and walked right into something. I can well envision Floyd replicating that, like he did with Hatton - especially if Pac falls behind and starts getting desperate later in the fight

I was going to say pretty much the same thing. It's not like Marquez was in Pacquiao's face, being brave. He was basically getting beaten up at that point, Pacquiao got far too cocky, and literally jumped into a perfect counter right hand.

Except there's a BIG Difference in Pac's Handspeed and Hatton's, Not to Mention the Angling of their Punches...

Even when Manny Leaps in, he's Doing So w/STRAIGHTER Shots than Anything Hatton Ever Threw...Not to Mention, the Hatton Fight Being like 7 YEARS Ago...Floyd's a Completely DIFFERENT Fighter Today & his Reflexes & Timing have Followed Suit...

REED Thinks Many are Overestimating How Much Floyd has Left...

Marquez has Faced Pac IV Times & That was the 42nd Round he'd Shared w/Manny...Marquez KNEW Pac's Tendencies & Rhythm By Then & INTENDED to Catch him Coming In...This WASN'T Some Eye's Closed, Lucky Lick Bullshit, there were TACTICS (By Way of FAMILIARITY) Involved...

Marquez REMAINED in the Pocket the Entire Time...How Many CLINCHES Did Marquez Initiate???...

Until Floyd's Confident he's COMPROMISED Pacquiao, there's NOfuckingWAY he Stands in the Pocket w/Him, to the Degree Marquez Did...

Best case scenario, Manny says to Floyd during the staredown "Dooooooo youu hah any exgooses disss evening Floyy?"and proceeds to give him a one sided flogging.

I bet everyone will be surprised with floyds power and size in there.

Jut like when he fought Shane.. Floyd looked to have more energy in there and was not handled at all by Shane.

Floyd is bigger, taller, wider than pac by quite a bit

I envision Pac not just out hustling Mayweather, but dominating him. Not a massively wide decision but one that suggests authority and control.

The Mayvinci code is about to be cracked, you cracka biatches

    Ohhh my....I agree....

People will be shocked by the size advantage Floyd will have in the ring...I know Pacquiao has been the smaller fighter in the ring...but never against an all time great...

I don't know after reeding some of the post here I'm optimistic of Pacquiao chances...esp. REED's post....I can see that...

I'm picking Floyd...but would LOVE....LOVE if Pacquiao pulls it off...just so Floyd doesn't retire undefeated!!...

Even at this point, not sure I see anyone dominating Pacquiao.

I don't see a domination for Mayweather at all. Even though Floyd is the "safe" pick, I don't see how he just walks through Pac-Man.

Manny will be more motivated than EVER and as REED pointed out, if he even BOTHERS Floyd with a shot, the storm that was Pacquiao will come to the fore front and I'm very curious how at age 38 Floyd will handle the intensity, hand speed, and work rate that Manny will bring to the table, especially considering that Maidana was able to give him problems in that first fightthrough sheer will and aggression and for some reason wasn't as intense in the rematch.

Even now, this fight is compelling.

Pac kinda blows if you guys have watched film study on him..he is ripe for the picking for Floyd

When pac shoots his right he drops his left, he is so open for counter

You know I hate to say it cuz I might be going...but it MIGHT be like a domination where Floyd STRECHES him in 3 or 4

I was going to mention this. JMM's durability as a fighter is proven, plus he's had 40+ rounds to figure out Manny. Floyd is bigger, faster, technically better and hits harder, but he's lost considerable speed in recent years, and he may not be able to weather the kind of storm JMM did. At this point, this is by no means a cakewalk for Floyd.

It's been nice to discuss the potential fight of the ages, the one everybody has been waiting for because it's so intriguing. Will Pacquiao have the speed and power to upset the defensive wizardry of the supreme boxer, Floyd Mayweather? Will Floyd try to catch and shoot while Manny throws? Pacquaio thinks a lot more and tries to setup shots rather than letting his hands go but all this talk is Nonsense. Look for Floyd to "injure" his ribs in training and pull out of the May 2nd super mega fight...

Was just thinking about the gate for this. When all said and done I'm guessing tickets on the secondary market will end up averaging 10K. Mgm holds 18,000 plus

That is a 180 mill Gate

The fight is much bigger now than 5 years ago. Mayweather jr is a muuuuch more famous person now than then. Same with Pacquiao

True. I actually think Floyd ducking for those past 5 years has made the fight even bigger. Regardless of their ages, this fight is terms of potential revenue and interest is at its very peak now. Most importantly, Floyd is still undefeated.
