I don't know. While I will not miss this fight for anything in the world, I am not as excited about it like I was a few years ago. [IMG]

Floyd Sr. will Be Working his Son's Corner on May 2nd, which Pretty Much ELIMINATES Any Chance of a KO, on Jr.'s Behalf...w/Uncle Roger, Floyd has Always Been More OFFENSIVE Minded...

Hard to say. First off, the odds of 5-2 and 2-5 tell us a lot. Manny has been sparked out recently, and that's key. Of course whether Floyd will be packing the same Hormones on fight night, and if he is on the lead as Reed says he will be, then a KO {neither man has scored a really big KO for some time, unless you could the Victoria shit} is unlikely.

I like Floyd to pick the guy apart and survive a few flurries over the distance.

you're kidding you self if you think the trainer he picks is dictating the style he fights. It's the other way around. If he wants to fight passively, he gets his dad.

Boxing fans have waited six long years to see the two greatest fighters of this generation square off in the ring.Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao finally got a deal done last week to meet on May 2 in Las Vegas, and the intense demand to see the latest “fight of the century” is producing historical pricing levels for those that want to secure tickets.
Tickets have not gone on sale to the public yet, but they are expected to start at $1,000 with ringside seats fetching a face value of $5,000. This will result in a total gate of around $40 million for the 16,800-seat MGM Grand Garden Arena. It would double the previous biggest gate in boxing history, which was $20 million for the Mayweather vs.Canelo Alvarez fight billed as “The One” in September 2013.

What about Wlad vs Deontay Wilder for the Undisputed title.

After all, Wilder vs Stiverne was going to be a "shit" fight too.

Do you think Pacquiao's punch resistance has suffered?

He was KO'd early in his career by a single punch from Torrecampo and obviously bounced back strong and showed his ability to take a punch.

Pacquiao got hit with a perfectly timed shot from JMM that he ran into. I was a little concerned in the Bradley fight when he was jolted back from a shot from Bradley, who isn't a big puncher. But the shot was right on the button, so maybe I'm looking too much into it.

Starting to get that feeling that Floyd will "injure" a rib in training camp and withdraw.

That Would Only REINFORCE the "Floyd's Scared" Line of Thinking and Would Be Crushing for the BUSINESS of Boxing...

There HAS to Be a Fight "Cinco de Mayo" Weekend and this Bout Already Punked Canelo-Kirkland Off the Date...

Having Said That, Floyd's Already Put in the Call to Errol Spence, for Southpaw Sparring...

2 Years Ago, they Sparred on EVEN Terms...With Floyd's DECLINE, that Likely Won't Be the Case, this Go Around...Could be Some Confidence Killing Moments, Leading to "Injuries" and a Postponement....

That's hard to believe, with a novice like Spence, that hasn't fought anyone.

Is there a video of the sparring by any chance?

Not really. I've seen some videos of Mayweather sparring where he's looked rather lack luster.

I don't doubt Floyd was going through the motions. And as his motivation decreases at his age, the chance to lose increases.

TBH I haven't seen much footage of Floyd sparring. I guess he must be one of those fighters that does go through the motions in sparring, and comes alive for an actual fight.

    It Happened...

Spence is Bigger, Younger, Stronger, as Fast or FASTER, a Southpaw...It was in Preparation for the Guerrero Fight, and Floyd was Coming Off his Brief Jail Stint, if REED'S Not Mistaken...

They Sparred on Even Terms, Bruising/Blackening Each Others Eye and Floyd Spoke VERY Highly of Spence in a Fighthype Interview, Something he NEVER Does for Sparring Partners....
