Yeah, I remember that. Everton's opening game got postponed because of all that.

One of the first places outside of London to riot behind that was Bristol. If you look at the ties in the League Cup that were postponed that season, they first postponed games to be played in East and South London. The next two to get postponed were Bristol City and Bristol Rovers home ties.

    Damn that Adrian Stone!

I guess Bristol is a hot-spot for disaffected pirates who never got the chance to go to sea.

Whoever decided the time slots for the Prem matches in march obviously thought that Liverpool and Spurs would make it through to the round of 16 but thought Everton wouldn't. Now the jackasses have to move two fixtures to Sundays (or possibly Monday for the QPR away.) Also, why in the hell would they put Villa-QPR as their Monday night match for 20 April when there is a 50% chance they won't play it? (If Villa wins at home against WBA in the FA quarters, that match is postponed.) They had five matches that were going off for sure that weekend to put in the Monday night slot.

Tell you the truth...........nobody in the EPL hierarchy cares about Liverpool and Everton. Their energy goes into getting everything OK for the London games and that's about it.

What I meant was, as you know, as long as you're alive in the Europa league, you can't play on Saturdays. It looks like they anticipated the other two possibly going through but they gave Everton two Saturday spots (Newcastle @ home, 14 March & QPR away, 21 March.) Both of those fixtures now need to be moved.

Yeah, but having worked in Public Council, I can confirm that most large organizations are inhabited by fucktards that get things wrong. Speak unto Feebles, he shall inform you of the stupidity of man. It is quite possible that they gave Everton no respect and just said "Yeah, they are going ooooot, because like, I read it in the papers".

The best example I ever saw of this was when Chelsea drew 0-0 with Everton at Goodison in 2008, John Terry was sent off. The result left Liverpool top of the league, but Setanta Sports, who had televised the game, had their league table already made up and had to apologize for showing the table with Chelsea top.

    http://www.independent.ie/sport/soccer/premier-league/benitez-still-walking-alone-26502139.html
After Chelsea's draw with Everton last Monday, Setanta briefly showed a Premier League table that had Roman Abramovich's side at the top.

The presenter of their coverage -- so laddish and egregious it makes Sky's seem like Kenneth Clark's Civilisation -- noted that Liverpool were actually top, the table on the screen was a mistake and would be immediately removed. But there was something telling in that mistake.
Few people expect Liverpool to remain top and it seems there is a hastiness to bundle them away so it can be explained just what they have done wrong.

The number of non-football morons that inveigle and infiltrate football is staggering. Look at Greg Dyke. Head of the FA, and I am sure he cannot wipe his own arse.

Because I plan my trips around these matches and cup ties, I become a football nerd. Charts and papers telling me when this and that are going to happen. League Cup, FA Cup, League fixtures, Europa League rounds, etc. I'm always on the lookout for fixtures that might be postponed/moved. I know a computer makes the fixtures and then the FA tinkers with them and sets the time slots for the month beyond the upcoming month around the 20th of each month. For instance, On March 20th or so, they will set the times and dates for the May fixtures (except for the last week where everyone plays at the same time.) I have begun to notice they do a lot of shit that makes no sense. I imagine a Monday night match would generate a lot of money with all the viewers they get. Like I said, they selected a match for Monday night that probably will be postponed.

Or Internet. Maybe lacking Internet IS lacking discipline. Maybe I need work harder, pull myself up by my football boot straps. Maybe I need to wait in line and let successful predictions trickle down to me.

This is West Ham's last season at Upton Park/Boylen Ground. Next season they'll be playing in a big stadium with a track around the pitch.

    Bet 365 being major cunts.

I put £10 on Watford to win when 0-1 down and now they are 3-2 up but I cannot cash out.

I put £10 on Forest to beat Reading at 0-0 and they are now 3-0 up but I cannot cash out.

If I cashed out now I am looking at well over £50+ on my two bets.

Also despite both games swinging in my teams favours, Bet 365 have not offered ANY increase in my cash-out options.

7 minutes plus stoppages for Watford to hold out.

paddy power's the same. When you don't fancy cashing out, the option's there, when you do, there's no sign of it whatsoever. Same happened to me during the week.
