    Damn, Cat seemed like she mentally snapped in the post fight interview with Rogan. She might need to be on suicide watch for a while. It almost sounded like she didn't think Rousey really had the armbar locked in or didn't think she really tapped. I'm not sure what she was getting at. It was bizarre.

    I know Cat wanted to start fast because slow starts have been the knock on her since the Tate fight, but seriously, that was the dumbest start to a fight I've ever seen. The last thing you want to do with Rousey is not have control of your balance. Ronda is ALWAYS going to win scrambles. It's not even a question. She is always going to finish scrambles in a dominant position.

    everyone tries to start fast against rousey and it's dumb. Tate starts slow with her and the fight goes three rounds. They need to start slow with her. She has way too much adrenalin in the beginning.

    It's a dumb strategy for anyone against an elite opponent. Could you imagine PAC rushing in wildly against Floyd? It's amateur hour stuff and embarrassing really.

    The whole thing was over in 14 seconds. I thought Cat would be her toughest test, but this was Ronda's fastest finish in MMA.

    Sometimes i can pan out if your opponent is cold. But Rousey is on fire in the beginning. she cant even stand still. She gets so amped.

    Jon Jones did that when he beat Shogun for the title. He rocked him with a flying knee in the opening seconds. That knee would have finished most light heavyweights, but Shogun lasted a few rounds.

    Apparently, Ronda has no fight scheduled and will begin shooting a movie next. Which makes absolutely no sense to me, since she didnt even break a sweat. Cyborg won in impressive fashion, Ronda won in impressive fashion. Let's get this fight going already.

    Ronda has been fighting twice a year for the last few years. She should have time for a movie and another fight this year.

    UFC champions should fight more often, but who else is there for Ronda to fight? Cyborg, then maybe Holly Holm, then maybe more rematches against girls she's already dominated. I love Gina Carano, but I don't want to see her come back and fight Ronda.

    I agree. I dont think one or even two fights is enough. Woman are way too emotional. Ronda is the exception. She has no emotion in the fight IMO. she thinks like a man.

    I'd like to see her retire and switch to acting full time at some point. The way she's going now, she could dominate those 4 girls (Tate for the 3rd time) and a few more before she even gets close to the end of her prime years as a fighter. She could set the record for consecutive wins and consecutive title defenses if she wants to. I don't see Cyborg (with strict drug tests) or the others being a real challenge for her unless something major changes.

    Zingano was shattered because she knew she absolutely fucked up like an amateur with that leaping crap.

    But you can see that Rousey was in her head and the moment was too much if she was willing to do something dumb like that. So it was primarily regret.

    I don't want to see her fight guys for real. I don't want to see her get punched in the face and knocked out by some dude who isn't even a top 10 fighter. That would happen at some point if she fights guys for real. Men are just stronger and tougher, even if she has better grappling skills than most men.

    Joe Rogan thinks she'd beat some of the top guys at 135 if they were allowed to fight. It's fun to think about it, to think about what would happen if it really happened. It won't actually happen in real life. No athletic commision would sanction that.
