Ive seen mayweather jr spar a dozen times and he was basically beating the shit out of the sparring partners. maybe its different now that he's older because this was all nearly 10 years ago

marquez is the one guy the past decade who has troubled pacquiao and he doesnt throw 100 punches a round. he picks his shots like mayweather jr with great timing and precision. only he is smaller, slower, and older.

Marquez still has a losing record against Manny, last time i checked. On the verge of being stopped himself when Pacquiao's feet got tangled with Marquez's and Juan Manuel was roided up when he threw the punch, but that's boxing. Knocked Manny down for the first time ever too. Never had done that in 3 losing times before.

Asked now, Floyd won't fight him, will you fight Manny a 5th time, the answer: hell no!!! as he ran screaming....

I think all Floyd fans should throw down at least 10g on their boy, for a show of support and easy money.

Fight starts with Floyd in his typical Philly Shell/Shoulder Roll stance, which is susceptible to Manny's straight left. Manny buzzes Floyd early with the straight left, causing Floyd to switch to a high guard in the middle rounds. Floyd attempts to walk down Manny with the high guard and lands his lead right hands, but Manny's output and the occasional right hook that gets around the guard wins him the controversial UD/SD. Internet argues about how 3-5 good punches per round trumps 40 blocked/slipped shots and the occasional 1 or 2 good punches (or vise versa) for the remainder of eternity.

I think PBF will come out with a very high guard like he had against Zab. But I agree that will be PBF strategy. He is substantially bigger & stronger, (which will be his most telling advantage), so he will try & impose himself. Manny needs to get in & out fast, get off first using angles with lead right hooks & STR8 lefts & uppercuts through the middle and get out again. Don't stay on top of him and get countered, and be on the lookout for the lead RH. If he can keep that up / keep his stamina/ not be overawed or distracted by PBF's increasing bitching as things don't go his way, he may be in with a chance.

I agree, the key to Manny winning this fight will be movement/angles and the right hook. Floyd's high guard will neutralize the straight left, but will leave him open for the hook. If Manny can hurt Floyd with that punch, it will put Floyd into a defensive shell, where Manny can win the fight based on output, though most of the attacks will likely be blocked/slipped. If not, Floyd will have a field day walking Manny down and landing those lead right hands. Look for Floyd to throw that long lead right hand from the high guard and immediately go for the clinch.
