Has anyone done the math on Newcastle since Pardew left vs Crystal palace since Pardew took over. The big Geordie guy who always makes videos had quite the celebration when Pardew left. Funny videos but a lot of what he said hasn't come true.

If you take away that flukey run where Pardew won six off the spin (which he statistically did every eighteen months) then Carver is pretty much where Pardew was. Be under no illusions about three things:

1. No-one wanted Pardew out because he was 'a bad manager' (even though he was) or 'because he was cockney' (tell Les Ferdinand and Malcolm MacDonald that NUFC fans hate cockneys). It was because he was a liar and a knave.
2. Carver is a mush, nowhere near qualified to manage any premier league club and no-one sensible wants him in charge.
3. Neither a. nor b. matters because the real problem is Fatty Mike. The stooges in the deck chairs can be shuffled all day long but the song will remain the same until he gets bored and fucks off. Seeing as he is about to reveal a £50m operating profit for the last fiscal year, he'll be in no hurry.

I backed Burnley to get the draw-win vs Liverpool. Put a few quid on it like. Liverpool traditionally fuck up against smaller teams having done the hard work.
