Not Saying Jones Would WIN, but his REASONING Seems Sound....

Cain ISN'T a Big Heavyweight...He's Also Injury Prone...Jones Will have a DECISIVE Height/Reach Advantage...Cain Should Be Stronger & his HANDS Are Considerably Better Though...

REED Would Rather Watch Cain vs. Jones, than Cain vs JDS for the 17th Time...But Having Said That, Jones Would Need @ Least 1 Heavyweight Tune-Up 1st...

Jones might very well win. Cain is overrated.

Cain isnt overrated, the man just never fights.

I don't see any reason why Jones couldn't beat Cain. Despite the weight class difference, Jones has fought and defeated a far more deep array of different skill sets than Cain has. In other words, Jones has beaten a fighter almost exactly like Cain (Cormier), but Cain hasn't faced anyone like Jon Jones.

Personally I think Cormier is better than Cain at almost every MMA aspect. Again, despite the weight difference, I think Jones success against Cormier indicates he'd have a realistic shot at beating Cain.

Cain's INACTIVITY is Another Thing Playing in Jones' Favor...

I'd love to see Jones against Overeem as a tune-up.

I'd pick Jones tbh, he is clearly the better overall fighter, and if he beefed up a bit, would probably be the bigger, stronger guy in the ring.

I would not bother with a tune up because he could lose to a lesser guy of he got caught

Jones walks around at what now? 230 or so? I think he could easily be a threat to Cain standing. It's the ground and pound that he would have to watch out for or even allowing Cain to pin him against the fence and work him over

I think jones loses but it's competitive imo

I don't see Jones knocking him out and I can't imagine Cain losing a decision. I'd love to see it.

Cain hasn't fought in 2 years. I'd like to see how he does against today's Werdum before I pick him against Jones. Right now I'd lean towards picking Jones in a superfight.
