I predict that if Manny wins, we'll see the return of Alabama man and if Floyd wins, we'll see the return of Slystaff.

As for the fight, I guess Floyd is the rightful favourite but I'll be rooting for Manny big time, but not because I want Alabama man back, just because I want to see Floyd beaten...

I think that's a pretty good prediction

Sly might come back either way, I've seen him lurking.

Yeah Sly comes to check things out when there are big fights/events like the announcement. He should really just post, even if its just now and then.

Yep. If I had to pick one key punch for Manny, it would be the lead right hook

I recently watched Mayweather-Gatti. Floyd was aggressive, threw more power shots, fought in the pocket, didn't give an inch and destroyed Gatti, made him cry in fact. Sometimes best defense is a good offense, and from early reports from the Mayweather camp, knocking sparring partners out with body shots, that maybe the strategy which Floyd will try to impose early. On the other side the only reaction is jubilation. They know and Floyd knows what works on others, won't work on Pacquaio.

We might have a shorter fight in our hands...

Gatti was a shit fighter and the fight was 100 years ago... This is like citing Pac vs 3K Battery and saying "yep, that's the ticket against Floyd Mayweather"

 Gatti? Seriously? If Floyd is as aggressive against Pac as he was against Gatti, we will have a shorter fight on our hands.. because Floyd will get KTFO

    clogg on point as always

Maybe a shot FIGHTER would be a better description. He was on the tailed end of his career, after brutal wars. Instead of waiting, moving and countering, he didn't let Gatti lead. He took control immediately and relentlessly.

Same with Corrales but to a much lesser degree. He lead with left hooks, no body work whatsoever until he felt Diego was weak enough to let his hands go more.

Seems strategy will be similar in the sense he'll want to stop the hurricane before the winds start forming, in it's infancy...It looks like it will be short night for somebody...

Seriously... Might as well Pac's best chance is to get on his bicycle and jab for 12 rounds

Not the lead right hook, the counter right hook.

When Floyd drops down to throw the straight right to the body that's when he's most vulnerable for the counter right hook. Floyd never sees it coming. Manny leading with it gets HIM countered.

Manny can't stand in front of Floyd waiting for the shot. He can't let Floyd get too comfortable...Manny needs to stay off the line and not present a squared target for Floyd otherwise he'll never be in position to block let alone counter.

Yeah. It would have to be a 'get off first" right hook at least -Just as PBF is twitching to do anything offensive. I think he could also throw 2-3 while PBF's in his shell, as long as he does it from angles, & get's straight back out again. He should get a few rounds in the bank, through workrate, so PBF has to actually fight him down the stretch. It would be awesome for Floyd to have to win the last 4 rounds to win the fight.
