I see the expansion of Anfield began this week. I think the first phase will increase it to 53k then the second phase to 58k. Great to see them ad hoc-ing whats there rather than building a boring bowl.

Most of the teams field majority none English players so that seems appropriate.

    I like this.

Germany Fascistman gets his arse handed to him by a genteel Icelander.

The Brits are still SORE over that fucking Cod war. Nobody harbours a beating like them.

One of Swansea's greatest sons is poet Dylan Thomas.
His works have been quotes in television shows and films, including 2014 space epic Interstellar.
In his much cited work: 'Do not go gentle into that good night', Thomas writes:
Do not go gentle into that good night,
    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Thomas dies at the age of 39 in New York, He suffered with alcoholism and his wife Caitlin later wrote: "The bar was our altar".

They can have a press conference and introduce Rangers new director tomorrow on St Patrick's day.

If, and it remains an If, Liverpool beat United this Sunday, we go 4th. Legit 4th.

    Then Arsehsit the following weekend.

If Liverpool can win both those games....who knows. Anything, even 2nd, becomes possible.

Liverpool have taken 10 more points in the New Year than Chelsea.....staggering.

Cloggy poo, mind you were saying recently that somebody you went to school with had made what looks like the worst film of all time set in Waterbury? I think this film set in the west end of Glesga has it beat. Surely the most rampant fucking faggotry ever committed to celluloid.

    LCN - La Cosa Nostra

that's clever as fuck how this particular mafia openly calls itself the mafia in defiance of all history and logic ... They also wisely make their home base in an economically ravaged small-medium city on a small river, a city filled largely with car thieves and petty robbers

I also like how they wear conspicuous head coverings while holding large guns in broad daylight

Nah it's still being tweaked by the auteur, apparently

whiskey, for god's sake, would you stand under Michelangelo demanding to know when the Sistine Chapel would be completed? There's no timetable for genius

Uninteresting coincidence - a totally shite and pointless 'film' by guys a couple of years below me at school just came up in my sidebar. I went to a few Celtic games with the chap with the bumfluff (johnny Martyn) & it takes place outside where two of my school pals lived. Johnny once got stabbed unimaginably bad, basically gutted like a halibut and left for dead. But he isn't dead, which is nice. Nothing about this film is either funny or realistic.

'Um no a junky, yeur a fucking junky!'
'Haw you i'll punch yer fucking cunt in!'
    'So ye wull!'
    ....and so on.
'Haw ya wee cow yer gettin' fucking done!'

Wee slice of life in 90s/00s Pertick, that. These days its just 'young professionals' buying two bedroom flats for 150k and chinese students.
