Its something that annoys me. Commentators are there to give impartial commentary on what is unfolding. But they always get involved, have favourites, agendas, etc.

If Floyd is clean, this would not take rolls of bills out of his car, dresser drawer, or waistband. After years of calling Pac a cheater...interesting.

 

Like I've said before and Musze recently highlighted, at this point there is more evidence to suggest Floyd has used PEDs than Pacquiao.

It's hilarious that people are trying to make hay of this. The contract is already signed, Floyd's team includes lawyers & they would never agree to some shit like that. Pure gamesmanship on the part of the guy who claimed he couldn't take a drug test because he was "afraid of needles."

 

It was a pathetic excuse, and did nothing but make Pacquiao look bad, but there is a big difference between a tattoo needle and a big needle going into a vein and extracting blood.

The former wouldn't bother me at all, but I fucking hate big plunging/extracting needles.

very interesting as far as the overall take of the fighters/promoters etc. an extra 20 % of the gross PPV dollars would be huge. i do not see what leverage they have to demand more than 50%. are their multiple agencies that can be used to distribute such a ppv?

 

The leverage is that 50/50 is bullshit. The only way that the promotion doesn't get better than 50/50 is if the PPV providers collude. That will just open doors to anti-trust lawsuits.

Why is 50/50 bullshit? For starters, I'm only guessing because I don't know exactly what the providers do. So if someone knows, enlighten me/us. However, I am assuming that, like with realtors, your 6% standard commission becomes very flexible if you have an expensive, easy-to-sell house. That's what this fight is.
