Does Rigo school him or does Prince take him out?

While I think Rigo can embarass him, I think Hamed at 122 with his speed, unpredictability, and power would catch Rigo in the mid rounds and get him out of there.

    Hamed KO 7

Hamed was actually steered well away from most of the good fresh black fighters.

Hamed couldn't KO Belcastro at 122 now he is taking out Rigo.....:dunno:

Old Tom Boom Boom was one of the few good black fighters Hamed fought and he needed 8 rounds to beat him.

Hell even Fat Charlie Shepherd beat Tom Johnson.

I like Rigo, I think he could reduce Hamed to religious recitals and wild swings.

Rigo is more skillful, for sure. But he is chinny.

I think that could cost him against Hamed.

Possibly, then again, Barrera was "Chinny" when he fought Hamed, he had been bombed out by Jones and was gun-shy in the rematch.

I also think that Rigo being Chinny was down to his fighting a big tall man in Donaire who could reach him, Hamed would be leaping in with stuff.

I mean it is possible, but Hamed has to get lucky with a bomb. Hamed was never the greatest combo puncher of all time.

Hamed is in the same boat as Tito. Both were soooooo overrated during their primes, and that they've both become underrated today.

I'm with PR on this one. One Rigo mistake, and he'd be headed back to Cuba in a box.

He'd have to be MORE perfect than he was against Donaire.

And if we're talking about the mid 90s Hamed, then we're talking about a guy harder to outbox than Donaire.

Interesting matchup. I would make Rigo the favorite. He truly is a masterful technician. But make no mistake, Hamed has a REAL chance of laying him out whilst behind on the cards.

Rigo's recuperative powers seem sound... That's important... Hamed was an amazing puncher but he was a poor finisher quite often... A fascinating match really

I was about the biggest Hamed fan ever, and I think Rigo would probably school Hamed 8 times out of 10
