    West end of Glesga's getting nearly as bad, good pubs keep getting taken over and turned into queerhawk 'bargrills' which sell faux gourmet american fast food & are named after animals. The crafty pig, the grumpy goat, the ox and the finch, the wise monkey, sparkle horse, whatev. >4 quid pints are pretty much standard. Heavy pish. Still plenty good places slightly off the beaten track for now but they're gradually getting squeezed out.

    Kinda, definitely similar, but they tasted different to me. If the Yanks added baked beans and black pudding to a traditional American breakfast it would surpass ours.
