I love this genre. But like most genres, it has a lot of shit to go along with the greats.

Irish mob film = State of Grace. Good reminder actually i havent seen that in abooot 10 years, i'll ebay it.

Usual Suspects and Eastern Promises deserve a mention. I guess my fave might be Carlito's Way, if that counts. Pacino is so dishy in that.*swoon*

 

You didn't see the movie Ronin (is it ronen?) It's about a international team of thieves. De Niro is in it.

I agree usual suspects , goodfellas and Carlito way is on that list. I guess casino belongs too.

there's always king of new York with Walken too which is worth watching.

Thief, starring James Caan and directed by M. Mann, who you seem to be a fan of. Surprised Hut Hut didn't mention that one.
