:: that vid is epic :fist: you mean 0-3. also, now that you mention it, amir khan is a pretty handsome fellow, isn't he?
He's not bad, but nowhere near as handsome as Morales, with his classic, chiseled, hawk like features.
i had morales winning the second fight and drawing the third. he did win more rounds over all in the trilogy with barrera tho
I had him winning the 1st, 2nd, losing the 3rd. He landed more punches and won more rounds in the trilogy for sure. He also beat Pacquiao, and Barrera got slapped around like a red headed stepchild who ate all the ice cream.
Nah he's too goofy looking, too fish faced ... He's like a guy that could be handsome with different ears, different eyeballs, a less stupefied expression ... Kinda like how Marvis Frazier sort of looked ruggedly handsome like his daddy except something just wasn't right, he was cross eyed and gormless looking
agREED, in all honesty that's how I had it as well.. they were all close fights (Morales tended to fight down to the level of his opposition) but the 2nd was the clearest. 3rd I had to give to Barrera. So 2-1 He's like a guy that could be handsome if he were a featherweight champ from Tijuana
Agreed on all counts, and yeah the 2nd was the clearest Morales win, they obviously did that weird thing of correcting a perceived robbery, given the controversy of the 1st fight. Barrera's performances in the first two fights are overrated, he just did a late of late round rallying/round stealing, and landed the more obvious, eyecatching punches.
REED's Paraphrasing, but he Vaguely (Drunkenly?) Recalls Jack Mosley Saying Something to the Effect of "You Okay Shane? You're Not....Uuuuuuh...All...You Know?...or Anything, are You?", as Vernon Forrest was Publicly IMMASCULATING him on HBO... REED:mj:
You know, I was always a fan of Shane but also a HUGE fan of the ridiculous as always. I just LOVED how every and I mean EVERY single fight, jack would say before the fight.. Something like "Shane is just so strong, they are gonna be surprised how strong Shane is" Then if Shane lost it would be "shanes back tightened up" ::
What did he mean by that?? It sounds lurid, really odd, Like Shane was menstruating or crapped his shorts and his father was concerned for him.
I would also like to know what he meant by that :: I also like how this is about the 100th time you've highlighted this ::
Based on Shane's Between Rounds LOOK & BODY LANGUAGE, REED Thinks Jack was Wanting to Ask Shane if he Felt the Fight was Getting AWAY from Him or was to the Point of Being UNWINNABLE... Can't Recall What Round it was, but it was LATE Enough in Mosley-Forrest I where it was OBVIOUS Shane was Going to Have to Do Something EPIC to Win...Shane's Look was that of a Man that KNEW he Couldn't Do Shit about It... & Instead of Offering what a Capable CHIEF SECOND Would, Jack Said what he Said... REED:scared:
Not Quite as Bad as REED Advertised, but Here Goes...Btwn Rounds 4 & 5... "....Keep ya Hands Up...Continue to Work the Jab...Uuuuh, How we Feel?...You Feel Good?...You're Not Gettin'...ya Know, Excited or Nothin'???...overexcited???....I Want you to Relax Shane...Like You Always Do!" Compared to the VERY Specific Instructions Ronnie Shields was Giving Forrest, Seconds Prior, Jack Mosley PALED in Comparison... Just on an aside...Foreman straight with the dry-bodies theory.. the absence of sweat means it may take a moment or two before anything happens.
