They've been needing to do that. But my understanding is the players LOVE him. Plus what good coaches are available? :dunno:

There are many that could do a better job than him. I compare him to Brian Hill.

Some of the drives Harden has had tonight are flat out embarrassing. His flopping skills are next level.

Rockets seem like the much better team in this series, especially when Dwights on the floor. Picked up a tacky 4th foul, will be interesting to see if the Rockets can hold the lead with out him.

Harden's flopping skills aren't great, his baiting skills are. He baits and looks for contact, when he drives he exposes the ball, and 9 times out of 10, a defender will reach out and smack him on the arm.

Did he flop in this game, yes he did. On one of his drives to the basket, he ran into Dirk's shoulder and initiated contact for the call.

What is a much worse flop IMO? Dirk being out of position for a rebound while being behind Dwight, jumping off of Dwight and flailing his arms while being untouched and getting the foul call.

Rockets will be fine with Dwight off the floor, Capela has been improving every game, 8/6/2 tonight. This guy is the Rocket's future center. 20 years old, has started working out with Dream, only 12 games played in the NBA and his per 36 is 12.8/14.4/3.6 blocks.

REED who do you got? I think my Spurs could repeat with the absence of OKC. HOU and MEM are bad match ups for them though. I got the Cavs in the east since you never count out a Bron team. Love must step up.

Pop sees something in Baynes that we all don't. He plays with heart, but he's garbage.

Chris Paul is the X factor here. If he keeps playing at this level, it may spell doom for the Spurs. Parker hurt his ankle/thigh, which give the Clippers a better chance to go to SA 2-0.

True. I would give the players more credit than the coach. Blake and Paul both played great, even Jordan looked like he owned the paint.

if parker is not healthy then that is the difference. we already know that paul wont be able to put up games like that throughout a grueling series.

So on the Off Chance Pops DOES Get Out Coached, it's Because the Other Team had More "Star Power"???...

The Clippers have Had the SAME Roster for the Better Part of 5 Years Now, w/Out Getting Out of the 2nd Round of the Playoffs...Historically, the Spurs have Beaten Teams that Possessed MORE Talent, Man for Man...But NOW we're Supposed to Pretend the Clippers, a Team NOBODY Predicted to Go Faaaaaaaaar in this Years Playoffs, have Some Sort of ADVANTAGE???....

If the Spurs LOSE this Series, Magical Mystical Pop will DESERVE some of the Blame...No 2 Ways About It...

While I agREE that TLC's Star Power comment was nonsense, the Spurs got beat by the Clippers. Doc Rivers didn't out-coached Popovich and handled the win to his players, like Dog Jones implied, which would be taking away from Paul and the guys solid performance. This will be a competitive close series that will take it's toll to the winner. About that first game, I do blame Popovich for playing Baynes more than Splitter. Blake was shitting on the poor guy and Popovich's obstinate ass didn't flinched. Props to the Clippers for showing maturity and control, traits that were missing in their past playoffs stints.

REED Ain't Even Saying Pop WAS Out Coached, Necessarily...REED's Arguing Against the Media Fueled Belief that Pop (Or Anybody Else) is ABOVE Being Out Coached...It Happens...Phil Jackson's Been Out Coached...Red Auerbach's Been Out Coached...It Happens...

If Prime Amare` Stoudemire Isn't THE Most Athletic PF Ever, then Surely Blake Griffin Is...Sooooo WHYtheFUCK was Baynes on him for Any Stretch of Time???...That Matchup had "Shaq vs. Shawn Bradley" Written All Over It:lol:...But as You Alluded To, Pops' ARROGANCE Got in the Way

Anthony Davis OWNED Golden State in the 4th Quarter of Game 1...Monty Williams Moved him to the 5-Spot and it was Off to the Races...

Understandably NERVOUS, Heading into the 1st Playoff Game of his Career, Davis Needs to Come Out VERY Aggressive Tonight, for the Pelicans to Have ANY Chance of Making a Series Out of this...& they CAN, in REED's Opinion...

After a Fantastic Game 1, Derrick Rose is 0-7 at the Half of Game 2...But he Does have 6dimes, 5boards, a Steal and a Block...

Hate to Admit it, but These Days, REED Watches Dude, EXPECTING the Next Injury...Hopefully DRose is OVER the Injury Bug that's Plagued Him...

Have to go with Davis due to age and upside. He alone will keep a team relevant for many years.

    Yeah, Davis EASY...

Dude JUST Turned 22, Barely a Month Ago...& his Upside is LAUGHABLY High...3 Years Ago, Offense was an AFTERTHOUGHT for Davis; Now he's to the Point where He Should Be Good for 25+ Per Game, for the Next 10-12 Years...

ALREADY 1 of the Best Floor Running Bigs we've EVER Seen, Ballhandling's Steadily Improving and his Perimeter Shooting has Become Reliable (Though he Takes a Few Toooooooooo MANY Jumpers for REED's Liking)...He'll Need to Add a Couple Go-To Post Moves Also...

& if Dude EVER Develops a MEAN STREAK, Look Out...
