You proved nothing, you posted two people that look very different, and obviously I commented on it.

 

So what you're saying is there is no American look at all is that right? Do people look similar, the world over? If you came to England, would people look by and large the same as in America?

Do people in Puerto Rico look the same as people in Jamaica?

 

All you proved is that you've turned into a very petty, argumentative troll.

You chose 2 Russians, one of which was more square jawed and jock looking than the other.

Did I say they don't exist anywhere else in the world? No. I said square jawed jocks is an American look.

Of course there's an American look, and an English look. The average Englishman looks different to your average Frenchman, or German.

Me and Royness both agree there's a definite square jawed American jock look, so it's 2 against 1.

 

This thread has strayed a bit. Back to the original, important question. Who is hotter in the UFC than Paige? I'd love to compare.

 

Russians have an even more distinct slavic looking face. The picture of the basketballer or volleyballer Tony posted, couldn't have looked more typically russian. Kirilenko also looks russian.

Also Tony needs to understand, that one example is not sufficient to prove a trend wrong. Nobody says all americans look like that. So it cannot be falsified even if most americans don't look like that. Just merely a slightly higher percentage as in other countries.

And secondly I feel uncomfortable as mex's reference. Apart from the occasional correct observation here and there, I think he is ignoring the fact, that he needs strong glasses for years now.

 

I haven't been proven wrong at all, you have no idea what you're talking about.

You could post ONE photo of a somewhat Japanese looking Mexican, and go "See, The Japanese look is not only found in Japan!". It would be silly, and wouldn't really prove anything, it's the same thing.

Me and Royness have both noticed there are more dumb square jawed jock looking guys in 'Murica than anywhere else, it's a very real phenomena. Guys like James Marshall from Twin Peaks fit the bill too even as a non jock, it's an American look, and one you don't often see elsewhere.

It's absurd for you to say there's no English look too. Of course there is. Especially amongst the white working classes, England produces a certain type of face you rarely see elsewhere. Despite often being pale and mousey haired, it's a noticeably different look to Eastern Euros, Germans, Scandinavians, etc - who all have their own looks too.

With each countries having their own gene pool, however random and mixed up, certain genes take precedence and certain "looks" form as a result, it's really not hard to understand.

Rose is odd looking, but somehow attractive. She really IS young looking btw, she looks like a teenager.

I have excellent eyesight. It's why I was able to spot the haggardness of her face that you guys missed :kidcool:

And just FYI, I generally think fighters look younger than their age, they seem retain their youth longer than most people, partly through good lifestyle.

 

It really has nothing to do with poking fun at America, you're taking it too seriously, and too personally. I have no problem with America.

Some of my favourite films, music, and photography is from America.

It's a simple observation, it is absolutely true, and it is NOT limited to America.

Each country, by gene pool (however random) and natural selection, has cultivated certain looks that can be associated with it. It's an observable phenomena, much like evolution.

 

I know what your point is and told you, you can't prove it the way you're trying to. Mex can't prove his either. It's a matter of perception/opinion.

Good getting to Rose. She's obviously one who belongs in the conversation. I think I'd go Paige, Rose, Miesha, and then Rousey on looks alone. Paige is 4-1. The hype on her fighting ability is doomed to fail.

 

The chubby cheek chipmunk look I like a lot. MWS might be right on that being an American thing. It's a pretty common look here. Chrissy Blair, the ufc ring card girl has it (although I think she looks german), and I'm sure we can come up with several examples quickly if we try. As far as the male look, I'll let you nancies discuss that.
