Never been impressed by mugabi much but mayweather jr is not a very good welter, let alone 154lber

Mugabi Hit Sooooooo HARD, he Could Literally BREAK Floyd's Brittle Ass Hands, as they Glove Touch During the Ref's Instructions...

Earl Hargrove, Curtis Parker, Frank Fletcher... He didn't just beat those guys, he absolutely clobbered them ... After the Hagler fight, he got fat as hell, came back, lost on a freak eye injury, retired, got fat again, got lured back for some good money, beat some cans, won a title on a fluke when his opponent slipped and broke his ankle, got fat again, fought as a super middleweight, boiled back down to 154 and was promptly stopped by Terry Norris... Got fat again, fought more cans and then got stopped by McClellan... The guy's career was basically up to the Hagler fight and then a bunch of bullshit afterwards... Another thing, half the guy's fights before facing Marvin were at middleweight, not junior middleweight ... He was very big for 154 ... His best wins were against middleweights

If Bayless is refereeing pbf could probably win since he'd restart the action anytime mugabe got close. Also showtime stats would have pbf landing 90% of his shots.

Yep, the Curtis Parker KO FRIGHTENED 11 Year Old REED...Parker was a REGULAR on NBC's Boxing Telecast (w/Marv Albert & Dr. Ferdie Pacheco Commentating)...Insert Completely UNKNOWN African, who Ultimately Hit Sooooooo Hard, he FROZE Parker...To that Point of his Boxing Fandom, REED had NEVER Seen a Man Completely Short Circuited, w/Sooooo FEW Shots, the Way Mugabi Did Parker...REED Can Recall Thinking, "What ELSE is he Hitting him w/Besides his Fists?"....

Mugabi Wiped his Ass w/Frank "The Animal" Fletcher Too, who was a DARLING of NBC Boxing, Back Then...

No, Curtis Parker WASN'T Anything to Write Home About, Necessarily, BUT he was a Tough, PROUD Gatekeeper Type for Early 80's Middleweights...Competitive Losses to Guys like Hamsho and Scypion & Past Prime, Distance Losses to the Likes of Olajide and Tate...

All that Being Said, John "The Beast" Mugabi is 1 of 2 Fighters to EVER Stop Curtis Parker...Dude's Power was LEGIT....

Standing in with Hagler as long and as tough as he did counts for a win over not just half the middlweights of his time, but half the middleweights of all time.

Thread started by a Floyd fan, not a boxing fan.

    By May 5th he'll disappear.

  16. PRIME Floyd, not 37 year old Floyd. In MMs involving Ali, do you match the Ali that fought Holmes in them?

  17. Please. Floyd takes his ass to school. Y'all know it, just admit it.

  18. I'll disappear before then. Being a Floyd fan and being a boxing fan are not mutually exclusive. However it seems that being a Floyd hater and being a boxing fan are....

Mugabi would kick the fuck out of every single guy Mayweather has fought

Prime Floyd weighed 130 pounds ... I don't see how that improves his chances

  21. nonsense. The de La Hoya that Mayweather fought would have knocked out that overrated Ugandan cunt....probably not as early as Terry norris did, but 6 rounds tops.

  22. Floyd was still prime when he fought Zab, DLH and hatton.

  23. Xplosive

It took Hagler 11 rounds of SUSTAINED punishment to stop a prime Mugabi, yet Floyd, who took 10 rounds to put away brittle Hatton and couldn't put away bum ass Baldomir and glass Judah, does it in 6?

Makes perfect sense........................................ in the mind of a Floyd jock sniffer.

  24. Not Mayweather, De La Hoya. Read my post again.

X...as you know...Hagler went the distance with Duran yet Hearns wiped his ass with Duran in 2 rounds. Hagler wasn't a one punch artist. Secondly many concede that Hagler was perhaps not quite at his best when he fought Mugabi. Y'all have a very juvenile way of judging matchups. in boxing A beats B and certain way doesn't mean C would do it the same way, it's about styles.

Ali doesn't stop Norton, Foreman wipes his ass with Norton. etc

The Mugabi - Parker fight was a total "Holy shit" moment. Parker was a tough dude who gave everyone trouble and Mugabi just squashed him.

All of whom would get blasted by John Mugabi... Especially Zab and Hatton ... Good lord they wouldn't last 5 rounds put together

Just like Floyd thinks the guy that fought Spinks was the same that fought Liston
