Smart man. Will be interesting to see how much tickets fall to and if ticket brokers have to dramatically drop ticket prices to get rid of tickets.

BTW loaded, I forgot to say I agree with your thoughts on Mayweather's radical new training methods.

Seems like a very odd choice. Whatever he has been doing has been working pretty fucking well thus far, why risk something radically different for the biggest fight of your career?

There's the psychological implications of that decision too.

I'd be a wee bit concerned if I was a Floyd fan :kidcool:

didnt seem to hurt Badou Jack working with Heredia for the dirrell fight. nor did it seem to hurt marquez in the third and fourth fights with pacquiao

Good point, I'm sure Heredia's peds will offset any potential downside to Floyd's new training methods.

Two or three guys have tested positive for PEDS in Mayweather' gym. Perhaps they're looking for a surefire way to beat the test.

Those who aren't watching the fight can't wait for you to type "they meet in the center of the ring."

I don't think Pac has aged physically to the degree Mayweather has - he's lost a bit of speed but nothing like Mayweather.

If Pac doesn't get stupid and walk into anything (somewhat likely), I can see him eeking out a close decision (MD/SD), which is my pick. My second most likely scenario is Floyd by KO/TKO.

No worries on Floyd drastically changing anything... This type of training is what he did for most of his boxing career

I thought the Heredia thing was a rumor and he's not actually working with Memo for this fight

Mayweather Jr is slower than he was but I think his reflexes are still world class.. and either way, 38 year old Floyd > 38 year old JMM.

It seems like you're right actually, Heredia has confirmed he's not working with Floyd.

What's up with you for this fight Neil? No training camp gossip, and you don't even know whether or not Floyd is training with Heredia :dunno:

Agreed, his reflexes and speed of thought are possibly still the best in boxing, and that can nullify physical speed to a large degree.

It reminds me of Fernando Vargas in training for the DLH fight, to be honest. While Floyd is a different animal from Vargas, I think it says something at the least.

No way Floyd's reflexes are the best in boxing. They were. No more.

I'm assuming neither guy is going to like getting hit, but Manny will throw more and land more and deserve the decision. The 2nd most likely outcome is Manny's volume getting shut down by Floyd's clean shots.

Very unlikely we have a stoppage in this fight--well under 10%, imo. This is a shit fight compared to what it would have been.

oh i know. It's fucking crazy. I have been doing a shit load of betting on basketball for the playoffs. And my heart cant take it. Im sweating. And it's not really the money, cause the bets are small, it's just the thought of losing something.

I don't see it. For Floyd to do that, he would have to be extremely confident and confidence is something he doesn't have in the face of Pacman. There's a reason why Floyd avoided this fight for years. I'm not buying Floyd's act..and he's been looking like sh*t lately in his fights. Old man's ripe to be taken.
