Not just fights where you expect a slugest or a brutal war, and not fights involving bums that have never won a title, but fights between champions where it's virtually impossible for it to go the distance. I'll start. Any combination of Nigel Benn, Thomas Hearns and Julian Jackson at 160lbs. You could have three chimpanzees as the judges for those fights. Wouldn't matter.
I could see Hearns taking them both to school and winning a wide UD. Benn/Jackson is a guaranteed KO though. GGG/G-Man would have been brutal.
I can't. Hearns was a great boxer but make no mistake, he was in love with his power. He was a PUNCHER that could box as opposed to a boxer that could punch. Those guys were too in love with their power to allow Hearns to maintain a boxing pose. Hearns would try to hurt them and in doing so would risk being hurt badly himself.
What can I say....I'm itching to talk about boxing this week, in the lead up to this huge fight. Enjoy my presence while it lasts.

This thread is all about chinny punchers. You put them in against one another and you have a knock out.
Good one. Roger's sole chance of course would be to get Manny on the end of a perfect right hand. I wouldn't bet on it but it's not entirely inconceivable.
And there is no way that Pac is outboxing Roger, so he would have to be going for it, which risks him walking onto that right hand. Roger was rangy, good jab and right hand, a long, spear of a right hand, with an obviously questionable beard. It's quite possible that Uncle Roger starts to do a Morales on Pacquiao...and does it bigger and better. Then again its possible that Pac takes him out. I cannot see it go the distance, not because both men are such huge hitters, but because both men are stylistically endeared to hurting each other and being hurt by each other.
