I would have loved seeing jon run back to the car to grab a hand full of cash. That's a hilarious visual.
Maybe he was drunk or on coke again. He panicked and ran to avoid getting another DUI. He didn't think things through that well, since he left the cash, weed, and rental car paperwork with his name on it. At least he came back for the cash.
What a waste of talent. He's been suspended indefinitely and stripped of his title. Hopefully he can get his shit together because he is an amazing fighter. TFK
Yep. Thanks to MADD and politicians looking for soundbites, Jones is probably going to be better off with whatever he gets rather than another DUI.
A bit PREMATURE to Label him a "Waste" of Talent... The DUI didn't Negatively Impact Jones' Performances, Thereafter...Similarly, if He Can Keep his Affairs in Order After This, it'll Become an Easily Forgotten Footnote... REED
This time it would have been a serious thing. It's not like he got stopped at a checkpoint and blew a .08. He ran a red light and seriously injured a pregnant woman, presumably under the influence. The DUI thing is speculation, but I can't imagine him running away from an accident if he was sober at the time. A normal person would get jail time for a hit and run with a prior DUI. Jones is rich and famous, so he might get out of this with probation or community service.
REED Doubts it, But if Jones Does, it'll Be Slap on the Wrist "Jailtime", Similar to What Mayweather Received...A Couple Months Up to a Year, Max... By Now, REED's Thinking Greg Jackson's Gym is a Pretty BIG Deal in New Mexico...Lots of Famous, Wealthy People Training Out of There, Bringing ATTENTION to that Region...Probably a Lot of FANS of Greg Jackson Fighters w/Positions of Authority in the New Mexico Legal System, as Well... Hypothetically, If Jones Covers the Woman's Medical Expenses & Offers a Nice Chunk in ADDITION to That, She'll Become a Sympathetic Figure FOR Him...Along with that, a TRUE Stint in Drug & Alcohol Counseling (None of that 1 & Done B.S.) for Jones, to Show he's "Trying to Change"... The Bottom Line is, Jon Jones DOESN'T Have a Criminal Record...& Even Though he Got VERY Lucky in this Instance, No One was SERIOUSLY Injured...Ultimately, It'd Be BETTER for the State of New Mexico to Put Jones on a Lengthy PROBATION, Remaining IN his Pocket for a Few Years, Rather than to Give Him Jailtime... If 3 Years in Jail is What they COULD Sentence Him To, they Can Also Offer 6-10 YEARS of Probation, w/NO Jailtime...& Jones would JUMP on that in a Heartbeat, Undoubtedly...1nce the Legal System REALIZES a Person Isn't a Thug or Menace II Society, they WAN'T to Probate that Individual...Again, MORE Money is Made Off that Person that Way... REED:kidcool:
I think you're off on the length of probation. I think much less, like a couple of years. Otherwise, yep.
