You could tell Floyd was mad he was getting booed and pac all the love. As much as may says he doesn't care what people think of him he truly does that is pretty obvious.

What it seems he fails to understand is that people aren't impressed with money and material for the most part, well anyone with half a brain.

Come on...y'all know he's not looking for love. He's embracing teh bad boy persona. He created it and it works for him. Ali said that the reason that he used to boast so much...was to annoy everyone and make them want him to get beaten..and that in itself is what kept him motivated...because he had to back it up.

Yeah I do agree with you in one sense, he obviously has run with the bad boy persona (that gets Arum to protect him from gangsters, ol) and that's kind of what has made him this successful, MORE than just skills as you suggested.

However, he's kind of a walking contradiction, because on the one hand he has this Money May, bellend persona that is intended to elicit hate, but on the other hand I think he's a sensitive soul who just wants to be loved, and wants daddy to give him a big hug and tell him how much he loves him, and that he's a good boy.

 

Maybe, Zab is a very fast southpaw, albeit a bit on the shot side.

I get your point. I guess at the end of the day everyone wants to be loved, deep down. But he's created this persona and knows it makes him the bad boy everytime and I think he's cool with that. He also knows that he has more fans than he does haters.

Zab is a good sparring partner. Of course no one can truly replicate manny's style...but you don't have to replicate it exactly. You just have to get used to fighting a fast southpaw that has power...then make whatever other adjustments once you're in the ring

 

I know y'all will heap scorn on me for saying this....but victor ortiz would have been a good sparing partner also. If you could handle that YOUNG HUNGRY LION you could handle anything.....
