He said he was looking for Ward in the crowd at Vegas but never found him

So, for the second time in his career, Froch is still fruitlessly following Andre Ward around Vegas.

I've watched boxing for 25 years. I boxed (badly) myself for a while. My family has a history of (better) boxers. I know what I am watching. Floyd won, no doubt about that. But I object to being subjected to a two hours stream of bullshit telling me things I can see clearly are not true. These cunts are paid tens of thousands of pounds to give expert insight. Instead you get utter flannel.

    He'd still beat Khan.

    Precisely.

I was sat there with as stone-cold cast-iron key and Uri Froch was telling me the fucking thing was bending.

It was not. It was straight.

I don't think so. He can only beat Khan by knockout at this point.

I got it 8-4 for Floyd too. Pacquiao came with the wrong strategy, was too slow, too heavy and was unusually active. Can't believe he said he thought he won.

Very disappointing fight. Floyd fought scared. He refused to take any chances. I understand why, given Manny's speed and unpredictability...but still..

Floyd fought how he's fought in every fight ever. It was Manny's job to up the pace and take chances - he didnt. 5 years ago its a different fight, imo

Pbf was fought really scared. Especially in the first half he was jittery and going for all of pacquiao ' s feints. Pac just didn't seem to have the energy to attack consistently.

Wasn't lack of energy...he was scared too. Two scared fighters. Perhaps the hype got to them

Lot of holding by mayweather too. Holding and running. Pbf is an effective mix of quick reflexes, rule bending and evasion. Plus, he's single minded about winning (as opposed to entertaining).

Pac did seem to surprise pbf quite a few times and had him confused. Gave me hope.

Strange fight. Both were too respectful of the other. Both also hurt the other, which exacerbated the situation.

Does anyone still think this was a bigger fight than Vitali / Lennox? Or Tyson / Holyfield, Foreman / Moorer, Vitali / Sanders, Wlad / Peter, Wlad / Byrd, or any of a number of other fights between the best boxers in the world that happened in our lifetimes?

I think pac maybe knew the only way he could be knocked out is if he tired too much. Therefore, he was afraid to let it fly.

Based on this fight, I do kind of think the Pacquiao who knocked out cotto could've beaten pbf.

I think you might be working with a different definition of 'big' than everyone else.

I don't recall pac ever hurt tonight. Maybe I missed it but would've thought the lap dog commentary would've never stopped talking about it if it had happened...

More exciting, more important, one man proving that he's the best fighter in the world (of boxing). Those are big fights for me.

Pac was hurt, more than once. That's why he was afraid to come charging in in the later rounds.

Pac was never hurt. If anything I think that's the reason he foolishly thought he won the fight. Manny showed less fear of Floyd than Floyd showed of him. Floyd fought a very scared-type fight. Manny fought a stupid one.

Can't remember the rounds, but he was hurt a few times and it showed. There was a reason why Pac's punch output dropped off.

Yeah. The reason is he was getting tired.

One thing that surprised me was pac wasn't able to use more footwork.

Notice pbf barely fought out of his signature style. That no doubt threw pac off.

Pac doesn't get tired...when he throws 1000 punches....why would he get tired after throw a few hundred? That makes no sense. Pac was afraid of being knocked out. Only possible explanation.
