Cotto has a fight coming up in June/July so he probably won't be ready for September....

Pacquiao rematch is unlikely...unless they give something back to the SPORT/FANS and have it on CBS network..for FREE...

Khan?....considering he has been KO'd a few times....n the bad taste people have over the Pac fight..I doubt it will sell well in the States...maybe in the UK...

    Garcia?? lol....

    THurman?...nah...

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Garcia. That actually sounds like the most likely choice.

Khan stylewise is a difficult fight for an old Floyd. Do I think he'd actually WIN???? No, because at the end of the day Khan is garbage. But he'd force Floyd to come outta his comfort zone, which at 38 he doesn't wanna do anymore.

Garcia is a guy absolutely tailor made for Floyd, and Floyd would pitch a shut out while fighting at whichever pace he chooses.

Garcia will make FLOYD look like he was back in his PRIME at 135 fighting Jesus CHavez...and shit...but he is the easiest of matchup(not saying this because of Garcia last fight, I always thought he was SHIT)....Thurman has that retarded animal attack instinct to him...same with Khan...so Floyd isn't up for that fuckery anymore.

Agreed, Floyd probably wants someone nice and predictable and slow like Garcia, who won't bumrush him, and come anywhere near destroying his undefeated record.

Mayweather would lose to Khan. As a Floyd fan I do not want that fight to happen.

It sure as Hell ain't gonna be Thurman.

He's a bigger threat than Garcia, and Garcia is a bigger mainstream name than Thurman.

Do I think Thurman would actually beat Floyd? No. But he's a bigger threat to do it than Garcia because he's got enough power to hurt Floyd if he catches him flush, and he's faster handed and more unorthodox than Garcia.

Garcia is like a made in Heaven matchup for an old Floyd.

Prime Floyd would stop Garcia because he'd unload combinations on him at will.

38-year-old Floyd just bounces lead, and counter rights off Garcia all night and wins 12-0.

Floyd said he is giving up all his belts on Monday. So it would be strange if he fought for a belt.

Floyd should go for Cotto's belt for his last fight.

another meaningless fight to the public. We've already seen that fight. Floyd vs Cotto at 160 would be equal to Tyson's 2nd fight with Bruno after he came out of prison. Everyone knew the result before the fight happened. Was only a measure to get him a belt.

If Floyd wants a belt at 160 let HBO and Showtime work on a deal for a fight with GGG.

May vs. GGG ...1 million ppv buys...even if everyone overhype the hell out of GGG..it won't sell as good as May vs. Cotto II...and a fight vs. GGG is all RISK not much reward...while the opposite is true fighting Cotto...

You don't have to worry about Sly past this week at the latest.

He's going back to Bolivian now that this fight is over.

No. I wouldn't give Floyd any credit for beating Khan, because Khan has been knocked out twice before by lesser fighters. That's not what this is about. I sincerely believe that Khan has the style, the size and the abilities to beat an aging Floyd by decision. It's a NO WIN situation for Mayweather.

Khan is way too technically flawed, chinny, and dumb to beat Floyd, even a 38 year old Floyd.

His workrate will diminish without a clear target, he'll leave himself open, eat a few hard shots, and get dominated from there on.
