I'm with you Ant-A-Knee, Gina Caranno is the shit and I thought her acting was just fine (as well as her body) in Haywire. Besides since when do action films require top notch acting chops.

I also got no problem with female action stars, like I said Caranno is awesome and I even thought Angelina Jolie played a convincing badass in most of her action films. My problem with this whole thing is Mad Max is a male hero themed movie. If you're going to remake the film you're supposed to do it justice and stick with the main theme instead of getting all pussy whipped and letting some bitch literally blow new ideas in your head.

 

By the way Ant-A-Knee did you see Caranno's second film, In the Blood? I was thinking of checking it out.

 

It's laughably bad. I mean it's a really, really bad film. Luis Guzman had some scenes that made me think he gave up acting altogether and was about the resign himself to doing the SyFi movie circuit with John Schneider & Tara Reid.

Maybe enough people haven't seen it. It has a nearly identical rating on IMDB as "Haywire", but this is 10 levels worse than that. Has nothing to do with Gina who does have some halfway decent fight scenes. It's just a poorly made film.

 

I say you should watch it for yourself and get back to us promptly with a review.

It will be a sequel, not a remake. Ryan Gosling will star and Harrison Ford is returning as Rick Deckard. Reportedly Ford has said that the script of this new film is the most brilliant he has ever read. Crossing my fingers is true and not hype.

 

At this point he is reviving his career by reprising his iconic roles, just like Sly Stallone is doing. I hope he doesn't get to reprise Jack Ryan & Dr. Richard Kimble. ray:

For the same reason you can't have a straight up 80s style action flick without the actors obviously winking at the camera. Hollywood considers itself above that kind of thing now. It's all about the agendas and peddling 'inclusion'.

 

Pretty fucking spectacular. Well worth the price of a ticket. Enjoyed it a lot. Don't really have much to add. It's what you might expect. Take the trailer, expand it to 120 minutes, and there you have it.

For anybody who is such an insecure pantywaist that you even give a shit, Hardy had probably the exact amount of screen time as Theron, not that it should fucking matter. Only thing that matters is whether the movie was good or not. If some "Male Rights" group didn't bring it up, nobody would have fucking noticed..................but way to piss on perhaps the best action movie, in I don't remember how long. That's a very anti-male thing to do, if you think about it.

Also, this is George "Fucking" Miller we're talking about, not some 2nd rate hack like McG, taking over a well respected franchise. The guy created this franchise, he can take it wherever the fuck he wants....................though this is definitely in the spirit of the previous films, and stands firmly next to "The Road Warrior" as the cornerstones of the franchise.
