He really was CRAP in Ender's game. He was second only to Hayden Christenson as Anakin.

 

Just watch the movie yourself. His performance was really, really fucking crap. It was cringe worthy.

 

The whole film is cringe worthy. I quit watching after 20 minutes into it.

 

They keep getting worse with Spiderman casting. Just keep the fucker CGI already. No one gives a crap about Peter Parker.

It is pretty clear now Hulk will be in Captain America: Civil War after Mark Ruffalo posted that film's logo in both his tweeter & Instagram accounts with the words 'The Marvel family gets just a little bit bigger' and 'looking forward to this wonderful cast'. While as a comicbook fan that knows that Civil War on print featured ALL the Marvel characters to some degree, now the film has the same problem as Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: it is no longer a Captain America movie, but the unofficial 'AVENGERS 2.5'. I mean this film will be viewed as a disappointment if it doesn't gross over $1 billion worldwide even though it is supposed to be 'Captain America 3' which no one was expecting to do more business than 'The Winter Soldier' or 'Guardians of The Galaxy' in first instance. The original plan was to have a smaller scale film centered on Steve Rogers/Chris Evans with allusions, but not actual inclusions, of other superheroes AND a SMALL cameo by Tony Stark/Robert Downey Jr. But the moment Downey Jr renegotiated his part to be more prominent (and getting paid MORE than the actual star of the film) then Marvel slowly kept adding more characters to the plot. With the exception of Black Widow, Falcon & the Winter Soldier the only other character (besides the Stark cameo) that was going to have screen time was Black Panther. Now we have all the Avengers except Thor (and who knows if even him might show up), plus Vision, Scarlett Witch, Spiderman and maybe, maybe...Daredevil. The only good thing is that this film is not supposed to continue dealing with the damned infinity gems and it will be a 'hero vs hero' battles. But people will think is another Avengers movie as well industry idiots who will backlash at it for not being as epic or financially smashing as the two Avengers films.

 

My point is that it shouldn't have been titled 'Captain America: Civil War', but 'Marvel's Civil War' or "Avengers: Civil War'. BUT if they do follow more or less the comicbook storyline, this will be Chris Evans last performance as Steve Rogers and the Winter Soldier/Bucky Barnes will then don the Captain America costume for 'Avengers Infinity War parts I & II'. In that respect, then it makes sense that this is Captain America 3 so to speak.

 

In other Marvel news, Matthew McConaughey has admitted has been offered a role in a future Marvel film. Rumour has it that he will be cast as Norman Osbourne aka The Green Goblin in 'Marvel's Spiderman: The New Avenger'. Do we need to have Green Goblin AGAIN?? Sure, the character has never been done right (see Doctor Doom) and while I cringed at Willem Dafoe's Power Ranger-like armor and puked at Dane DeHaan Peter Pan-like ears, I am in no hurry to revisit this villain so soon. Heck, bring Mysterio, The Hunter, The Vulture, the Prowler...ANYONE but the damned Goblin!!!

While Al Pacino officially met with Marvel Studios president, Kevin Feige, no word has been released yet on what role or which film the legendary actor will be cast in.


Ok, this is not a Marvel nor DC property, but it is comicbook/superhero related: Jack Huston, who played Richard, the disfigured WWI veteran sniper turned gangster in 'Boardwalk Empire', has been signed to star as goth guitar player Eric Draven aka The Crow in a remake of the 1994 cult classic with Brandon Lee. It has been leaked that the villain, Top Dollar, will be a female this time which is a big departure from both the film and the graphic novel. (keep in mind that Top Dollar raped Draven's wife in front of him before killing her).

 

Jack Huston did a great job in Boardwalk Empire. I'm excited.
