I'm not sold on Mayweather beating Tszyu. Tszyu was a damn good boxer and what made him special (despite his short reach) was his timing. He wouldn't have caught Floyd like he caught Judah, but once he did he would have hurt Floyd. Tszyu had a lethal and precise straight right hand which I think would have touched Floyd more than people think. Based on how Floyd dealt with Castillo, I don't think he would have spent much if any time trading with Kostya (like Phillips did). Shame it didn't happen but that was a network issue not a fighter issue.
Please, Floyd would have beaten Tszyu easily. 9-3,10-2 type decision. Tszyu is 1 of the most overrated fighters of all time.
Tszyu is indeed one of the most overrated fighters of all time. His best win is Judah FFS, and he couldn't even beat Hatton. Floyd beats him easily, any weight, the idea of Tszyu beating Floyd is laughable.
"Rios beats Tszyu" - MWS. Rios would be doing a very very good Freddie Roach impression if he ever went near Tszyu.
Masterclass. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/t5HbhMCga5U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Most of what I've said about Tszyu is 100% genuine and true, but that was exaggerating for comic effect, just to live up to my Tszyu hating persona. Floyd would clown Tszyu though, no doubt, he'd be lucky to win a round. Best win = Judah, and got beat up and quit against Cool Vince and Hatton ::

I think so too, but he would have lost. Zoo closed distance much faster than most people realised, had great timing, decent power and never really lost to a "boxer" - but Floyd is such a good boxer he would have found a way to avoid most of Zoo's attacks and countered enough to get the decision. Zoo would give Floyd enough time and space to think and react.
Ex-fucking-actly. Tszyu is a 5'6 short armed counterpuncher, the exact style that Floyd feasts on. He would control Tszyu easily, win almost every round, and Tszyu would not take the risks necessary to win. Thinking Tszyu would beat Floyd is straight up mental, it's what I'd expect from someone who'd seen Tszyu - Judah, and maybe 1 Floyd fight.
Tszyu would not actually beat Floyd. At best, he wins 4 rounds. Tszyu was an EXCELLENT fighter, and is underrated, but he lacked a certain intangible quality to beat a truly GREAT fighter like Chavez, Pryor, Floyd, Whitaker, ect. Floyd is a piece of shit, and he damn sure isn't TBE, but he IS an all time great. In his 05 peak, he'd have beaten any version of Tszyu. But Tszyu would give him a good fight.
Kostya could counter punch, but he was more comfortable moving forward and imposing his strength on guys. Kostya would have come in over 10 lbs heavier than Floyd at fight time, assuming a prime 140 matchup. Whatever Castillo was able to do against Floyd, Kostya figured to do more. The two guys who beat Kostya did it in a way that Floyd could not. The confidence people have picking Floyd is similar to the confidence they had in Judah. But, I don't have a problem with a Floyd pick. Tszyu was a big-time underachiever and Floyd has always been a careful match-maker. They are both responsible for us having to imagine how their fight would go down instead of know. The best fight for supporting a Floyd win is the Hatton fight, but there are several reasons that fight is flawed as support.
Tszyu is not a pressure fighter, he fights nothing like Castillo. At best he's an aggressive counterpuncher, in the Marquez/Golovkin mould.
GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!! Are we talking about the same Vasyl Lomachenko who has fought only 5 times since his debut on 2013 and got spanked by geriatric Orlando Salido last year?? :l2:
