I won't bother predicting the outcome of that many mythical matchups but based upon a glance, the results alone aren't' "egregious". I would say it's hard to see the majority of fighters on that list beating Klitschko via decision. If you've got to rounds 9-10 and haven't knocked him out it's probably not going to happen.

 

the fighters that I have defeating Klit late in the fight are fighters that showed they can bring the heat in the later rounds...Witherspoon, Bonecrusher, Holmes......the fighters I have winning decisions against him Page, Tucker, and Buster...were big boys themselves with variety of punches and good athletes

It's fun to pick a bunch of fighters from the 80 ' s to beat wlad. But realistically, wlad would hold most of them into submission. The pre-steward wlad would obviously lose to many if not most of them. But the guy who gets away with holding 2.5 minutes of every round?

Wlad in his prime would be the betting favorite over most 80s fighters. Tyson would destroy him. Anyone with speed and explosive power would have a decent shot. I'd pick Wlad over Holyfield in his prime. Holyfield didn't have the kind of one punch knockout power you need to test Wlad's chin, and the size and strength advantage would be too much.

I'd pick prime Vitali over any 80's heavyweight except maybe Tyson when he first won the title. Vitali has the size and reach advantage, and he can take big shots on the way to breaking his opponent. Tyson had the kind of speed and power that could hurt anyone with one punch. It would be a fun fight.

 

GTFOH...Holyfield would turn Wladimir into wife #10332 and have him/her pumping out child #23454-A. In other words Holyfield will beat the living shit out of Wladimir, tooo much heart, too much stamina, too MANLY for wald vagina!!! Wlad wouldn't be there for Holyfield to hit. He's too big and too good defensively. He learned how to fight safely instead of letting his opponent drag him into a war. One big shot by Holyfield could change the fight, but Wlad would keep him on the outside and clinch when Holyfield gets inside. I'd pick Wlad by late round knockout.

Wlad never showed a lack of heart. He just doesn't have the chin or durability of guys like Holyfield and Tyson. He learned how to fight conservatively and dominate fights against smaller guys without taking risks. He was the best heavyweight of his era, except for his brother. Vitali hit harder and was more durable.

There isn't one fighter in wald resume that I would give the slightest of chances vs. a PRIME Holyfield.....


VITALY will be a whole lot more successful against Holyfield than wald....wald won't see round 8 against a PRIME Holyfield.
