I was thinking the same thing. Maybe if Quarry used this impression in his lead up with his own fights against Ali he could have psyched him out and faired better.

And I be like........."yeah, he woulda got....ripped off by his management, badly advised, hurt, and discarded".....Morrisson, Cooney and Quarry had some of the worst fucking "help" a fighter could wish for.

Apparently, Quarry wasn't all that bad at one point, but his brother, a non-boxing one, was doping him and acting as his carer and siphoning cash off.

By FAR the worst cases in all of this are the Moyer brothers

 

Jerry was a good commentator, charming and funny... He and Mike paid a terrible price for their careers and their brother was a scumbag.

Denny Moyer fought 'em all... Good, professional fighter and another guy that ended up a vegetable in a nursing home well before his time
